"We stayed at Moonraker Outdoor Adventure Camp the night before our flight, as we wanted to be close to Windhoek airport. It’s actually located on the outskirts of Windhoek, in the middle of the countryside, so once you’re there, you stay put. You can go for a walk around the area, and it’s really beautiful. The place feels like more than just accommodation — it also works as a farm or an event venue. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, and the staff was very friendly. We had dinner there, and the price was very reasonable. A totally recommendable stay!"

"What a beautiful location. What an incredible eye for detail. So much love has been put into this place. So many little things to admire and enjoy. Despite all the trinkets, dust, and so many different places to hang out, everything is spotless clean. All of this comes next to the beautiful view over the mountains, and the opportunity to walk among them. Additionally, it is a working farm with friendly dogs and cats (cat Alfred sat on my lap during dinner), horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, calves and other animals. Most of these animals walk around freely, and must have a great life. It is located after six kilometres of mountainous dirt road from the main road and dozens of kilometres from Windhoek. This means the stars at night are beautiful, and we heard jackals and baboons calling during the night."

"Two things to improve: a thing to put your soap on in the shower. And the name does not really seem to fit the place. When I first saw the name, I expected it would be some kind of generic backpackers place, so I made a point of checking the reviews and photos before being assured that it was not. In actual fact, it is a lot more attractive, beautiful and clean, than you would expect from such a name."

"This is the most brilliant accomodation with a lovely breakfast included. It is close to the airport and just off the road, all you have to do is follow the simple instructions.We read about the chocolate cake and coffee which was outstanding. On arrival a joyful experience awaits one in beautiful setting. Well worth it and lovely, competent and friendly staff. Thank you so much. Robin and Christine"

"I understand the camp is powered by Solar energy and I guess hence no aircon or at least fan. It would be lovely to have something to cool off in the cabins/rooms during the dry sunny hot days. It can get unbearably hot."
