"Very friendly staff and owner. They cleaned the rooms every day and provided clean linen and towels regularly. Breakfast was always served on time and was delicious! Lovely gardens and peaceful setting just outside of Katima, perfect for a breakaway but you are still close to town."

"I have enjoyed my stay and my expectations, when I saw the establishment at Booking.com, were met. I love the spacious rooms and beautiful garden 🪴 vibing with the forestry Zambezi region. I also liked the breakfast offered at the establishment. Even though there are no varieties, it is just enough and so delicious."

"Even though the establishment does offer breakfast, it does not provide for lunch, but offers dinner on request. The establishment could consider running a kiosk with some drinks and snacks as it is a bit out of town. However being a bit out of town is what made it more beautiful in comparison so some establishment in the town."

On top they baked fresh bread for the two of us for breakfast, just amazing! Marli is an exceptional host and her team is just great!"

"The setting, right on the river, was beautiful. The garden was magical. The boat trip was fantastic and by far the cheapest, and one of the highlights of our holiday. The hosts were very friendly and helpful."

"The location is remote, and exclusive. The lodge is located about 400km inside Skeleton Coast national park. You will get to experience firsthand locations that maybe only a few thousand people will ever experience, such as the clay castles in the riverbed. While you may see some desert adapted animals, don't expect to see too many. Seeing a lion or an elephant is possible but should not be expected. You're more likely to see some Jackals, antelope, and seabirds. Best food of any lodge I stayed at. We had a BBQ at the riverbed and the ribs were some of the best I've ever had. The staff is excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable. Among the top tier of any locations, we visited. You will be on a first name basis with all of them from the start, as this is a small lodge with only 20 rooms. We were short on diesel, and they were able to sell us some at a decent price to ensure our trip back to civilization was safe."

"Location amazing - secluded and in nature. We spotted Lion cubs on the river banks opposite - and were only metres away from them on our boat. The lodge is located away from the busy river locations in Kasane, and it felt as thought we were in our own private part of the Chobe river. Breakfast was incredibly good, lunch was great and afternoon tea/cake was perfect. Staff and guides were all excellent. The rooms were huge and well appointed."
