"This is a superb old mansion, full of beautiful antique furniture, but with all mod cons. and very comfortable, big beds. There was a log fire provided, which we did not use as the weather was mild. There were views of the mountains from one side of the house, and from the other, the streets of little whitewashed houses with their red-tiled roofs (Tapalpa is a "pueblo magico.") All the staff were kind and helpful. Parking in the street outside the hotel was easy. A delicious breakfast was provided, including fresh fruit, cheese, good bread and honey."

"Staff, especially Pamela, were outstanding. All our needs were met and our stay was simply wonderful. The room was lovely and immaculate. There was a fireplace but we didn’t use it since the weather was pleasant. King size bed was comfortable and there were plenty of blankets. The breakfasts were fantastic! The entire hotel, including the lovely courtyard, was beautifully decorated and very well maintained. Quiet area. A walk to the plaza was pleasant and took less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend!!"

"There was nothing negative about our stay. We plan on returning and enjoying the hospitality of Hotel La Casona soon."
