Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. "Monica and Nobert are amazing hosts. They are always there to help you. They know a lot about the area and the country so their advices are always welcomed. They are really nice to talk to and share a meal with. They have 2 nice kids. Like Monica told me, « they are a home, not an hotel » and it’s way better that way! :) The room was clean and confortable. The included breakfast was really delicious and huge and it changed every day. They offer to cook for you if you want to eat dinner with them which is really great. They offer a twin lakes tour which was amazing with a lot of informations."

The bathroom is a little small and it’s cold water, but you can get a bucket of hot water so it’s ok. It’s not so close to city center, but moto are easy to find to get there, or walk for a bit is possible.

We did not know that breakfast was not provided at the place in spite of being advertised on booking.com

The kitchen was not equipped very well. It is sufficient only for short stays. So if you stay for two or three nights it is OK - otherwise you will not be able to prepare decent meals there.

If you are a light sleeper, you might find the noise from the road (10m away) and the railway behind it excessive, as well as noise from the next door neighbours with small kids, etc.

"This was our second stay, but in the bigger villa. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Having everything we needed right there was super convenient. Definitely made the whole trip smoother and more enjoyable. Can't wait to come back again sometime."

When arrive, bed sheets were used. We needed to change them ourselves. No cleaning servise. The mainhouse kitchen was only allowed for small cooking like eggs. If wanted to cook food, needed to go outside kitchen. There was no fan or pots, all needed to take there from main kitchen. Very unconvinient and hot to cook there. We were accused from staff and other customer stealing her mobile. Phone was found in her room where she had put it under her blanket. That really upset us. Owners were nice thou and apologize us.

"We had a truly great stay at Vila Davor, Turistička 8- Peštani. The location is phenomenal, at least in our case with small children, because the apartment is less than 10 meters from the private beach with sunbeds. In same house there is a beach bar and kayak and sup board rental. There is a supermarket and several restaurants of national cuisine nearby. As for sightseeing, the entire area around the lake and the Galicica National Park are a 15-20 minute drive away. The host is pleasant and ready to help in any way that would make the stay more pleasant (cheers Mishko). The house is a little bit older, but the apartment is clean and tidy. The kitchen is shared and with basic things as it is noted in the offer so that is not a complaint. It is a bit more difficult to park if you have a large vehicle, but the host can find you a safe and large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. And the biggest plus at least for us- they are pet friendly."

"We had a wonderful stay here. Christina and her husband are excellent hosts, very caring and go above and beyond. Beautiful garden with pool. We used it as a base to explore Peniche, Ericiera, Lisbon etc. It was like home from home, except for Christina's lovely home bakes! Thanks"

"Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."

"חדרים מאוד מרווחים ונעימים ברמה גבוהה של ניקיון! הבית חמים ונעים למרות שקפוא בחוץ, בבוקר הכינו לנו ארוחת בוקר ממש מפנקת ומעולה שכלולה במחיר וזאת למרות שקמנו מאוחר וקיבלו אותנו למרות שהגענו ב1:00 בלילה, גם המקלחת מעולה עם מים חמים וזרם נהדר"

The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.
