"La Cabaña de Huerta Mar es un ambiente acogedor que brinda calidez y calma. Los anfitriones son personas muy amables y atentas a cualquier necesidad. Cuentan con una huerta adorable y unos acompañantes de cuatro patas cariñosos. Los techos elevados de la casa hacen que se mantenga el ambiente lo suficientemente fresco a comparación de la sensación térmica que se percibe al exterior. "From the beginning you could realise that Allison thinks of many details and cares a lot. Getting the keys and entering the house was very easy (contactless). The garden, the furniture, the book with housing rules and travel tipps, the cleanliness -> everything planned very well and with great care. Very late checkout was offered. We enjoyed the stay a lot and would clearly recommend it."

It was not clear to us that the pool was shared between 3 houses, don´t know if we just missed it. But in reality it was no issue, it was always empty, when we wanted to use it. Checkout rules could also be mentioned in the book. Despite that, it was still by far the best stay of our holidays.

"Boendet ligger i Regent som ligger lite högre upp i bergen jämfört med Freetown. Det gör att det är lite svalare och inte så tryckande värme som nere i stan. Det är visserligen en bit att köra om man ska in i centrum, men samtidigt är det inte så mycket bilköer som inne i stan. Värdarna tog hand om oss på ett bra sätt och huset vi hyrde hade rätt bra standard. Hög standard för att vara i Sierra Leone."

Jag har inte något som jag inte tyckte om. Möjligen att du måste ha tillgång till egen transport om du enkelt ska ta dig till och från boendet.

Each room had functioning air-con (which was a life saver) as well as the main lounge area. All the facilities were well maintained. The highlight was the bathroom. It was rather basic and the water pressure was low so that at certain times I was unable to shower.

"I really enjoyed my stay at Casaroro Residence. The accommodation is located in a mountainous region surrounded by nature. It's very quiet, no traffic noise. Waterfalls and hiking trails are nearby. The room is well equipped. Large double bed with a very comfortable mattress. Aircon is super silent. There's a fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom with hot shower and outside you can sit on a veranda which is protected by mosquito nets and there's also a barbecue area outside. The internet connection is stable and quite fast, for entertainment there's flat screen TV with Netflix and even a Playstation4. For this budget this is one of the best places i ever stayed. I can absolutely recommend this place!"

Didn't have cell phone signal. It's a little bit of a drive to get to any store.

"The villa is spacious and well ventilated. The swimming pool is clean and almost entirely ours. The staff Grace and Amani are very good and welcoming. The owner Monica is also good and always checking whether we were comfortable."

A microwave is very necessary. I didn't see an iron box either but I didn't ask whether there was one. The deserted bushy stretch of the road from the main road is scaring especially at night.

"The host was lovely. Arranged a time to meet and greet to show us around. Basic snacks and drinks were provided which was a nice touch. House was clean and well maintained. Towels and spare sheets provided. 2 bathrooms was great. Great washer and dryer (massive american style washer and dryer), fully kitted out kitchen and convenient parking outside property in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Property exactly as advertised. Very nice facilities. 7 minutes drive to Sheraton shopping mall though there is a 'popular' supermarket which is walking distance or 2 minutes drive. Its about 15 minutes to bridgetown or oistins which is very central and banks are close by. Host arranged a housekeeper half way through holiday at no extra charge and we even had resident monkeys greeting us every morning. Only teeny tiny thing was the middle (1of 3) bedroom had a ceiling fan rather than ac and it was hot but that was minor really."

It would be good if there could be an established recycling collection/point locally.

השיטה של חימום המים במקלחת הייתה לנו מעט מסובכת. למרות ההסבר המפורט של תומאס, אנחנו לא הצלחנו לפצח את השיטה ונאלצנו להתקלח במים קרים. המתחם מקסים, רק יש להיערך לכך שהוא מבודד והמסעדות באזור בתקופה בה אנחנו היינו נסגרו בשעה יחסית מוקדמת (18:30-19:00)
