The place itself is stunning — even more beautiful and spacious than the photos show. The bathroom was large and elegant, and the view from the property is simply breathtaking. The location at Anse Royale is ideal, close to everything yet peaceful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. "Very clean and spacious in a quiet neighbourhood. 10 mins to a little beach and 25 mins walk to the old center. Johnny is very welcoming and speaks excellent English and Dutch amongst other languages. He arranged airport transfers and transfers to Cidade Velha which all went smoothly. There is a cafe and few restaurants round the corner and a pretty restaurant by the beach."

If you’re tired of restaurant food and want to cook a simple meal, there aren’t enough equipment provided.

"Nice setting, clean and comfortable room. Liked seeing the wildlife and walking the trails. In addition to the pool there's also table tennis, a football table and other games you can play which is a nice touch."

There was no tea or coffee in the room. Instead coffee was changed at an excessive rate. The same applies to the resturant: I always expect to pay over the odds in a place like this but this really was excessive! The final thing I thought was harsh is the 10 am check out time especially at low season.

Kigali is a city which is really spread out so therefore there is no central part as such. It is with an easy reach of the airport and the city centre by Taxi. I would make this a destination Hotel. Extremely good value for money and you need to try the Rwandan breakfast

"Best accommodation we have stayed in for all South America and central America. It has everything and is convenient for everywhere. Including beach."

Construction works are going on in the area and at the hotel in winter. Theh hamman, spa and bar and restaurant are all closed in winter too - all understandable and no huge deal and there's plenty in the area open all the time.
