"The holiday home is new, comfortable and very clean and well-maintained. I liked the little town of Qala, and you can use the same transport card as on Malta. It's bus #303 from the port and the same bus will take you to the capital, Victoria."

"You can only use the kitchen to prepare your breakfast, and only until 10.30 a.m. Official check-in is at 4 p.m., but I was able to arrange a bag drop-off at 12 noon, thanks to the lady who does the cleaning. There are no adapters for European plugs, but I bought one in Victoria at the hardware store for just €2.50."

"The owner did mention that it has been revamped, and it’s actually one of the top-class holiday homes I’ve stayed in. The pool area, the bedroom, the big TV, and the view of the sea were all fantastic. I would return to Villa Zest any day."

"Lovely complex with a beautiful communal pool. Apartment was clean and comfortable. Lovely and airy, a/c and excellent water pressure."

"If you have pushchair / wheelchair it's not very user-friendly as there are stairs and a heavy swing gate to get through, and a few steps up to get to the lift/pool area. No ramp available. One of the bathrooms had the hot / cold tap reversed, and could be an accident risk with kids. It would have been nice to have some basic foil/baking paper and paper kitchen towels etc given that it's a self-catering flat. Otherwise, it's a truly lovely place. Will be back!"

"This is a lovely accommodation, no expense was speared with regards to the kitchen facilities, modern furniture and the top room with the jacuzzi, from the pictures we had high expectations and this was its down fall. (For example, the pool area is much smaller) It just didn't hit as much in reality. There is a beach close by but if you have mobility issues a taxi would be required to go because the hill is steep getting down and up to it. The staff responded very fast and dealt with any issue that arose. Tracey was very helpful and professional. Thank you."

"A slight disappointment was the pool. It needs some TLC, maybe repainting and a refresh of the tiles because it appears as not being cleaned, but its staining. If the Pool area was in good keep we would give 10/10. The view is questionable because the area isn't as well developed, which of course is no fault of the Accommodation, so I would advise to be prepared and to always look out onto the sea and it will win you over."
