"The appartment and the terrace are bigger than in the photos. It is very nice and bright, you have a big "baie vitree" overlooking the church (the red roof has a beautiful colour in the morning sun) and a side view on the Mellieha bay. The appartment is modern, clean and well equipped. There is a small supermarket Spar cca 8 minutes walk, another bigger one 15 minutes walk, 5 minutes by car, pharmacy 10 minutes walk. I had a rental car so can't speak for the public transportation, but finding parking was never an issue at the appartment or anywhere else (apart from Valletta, which is probably full all year round). Maria is a great host and a very warm person. We arrived late in the evening and she was there to greet us and answer all questions we might have had. She also booked boat tickets for Comino for us on a very short notice, she would advise us as to what to see and do."

"Nothing that is in Maria's power but I feel I should mention it although it was not an issue for us - there is a construction site on the opposite side of the road where the workers start early in the morning."

"The location was great! Very nice view, there were chairs for sitting outside. It is very convenient that the apartment has two toilets, all cutlery, shower gels, towels. Also a big plus is the presence of air conditioning in every room. Super!"

"There is no washing machine, so plan your wardrobe in such a way that it will last for the entire period of your stay. There were also no beach towels in the apartment. This will be a cool addition in the future, because even when renting sun loungers at sea, it’s convenient to take towels with you. Of course, we did not take white towels from the apartments, we bought beach options. We also encountered the fact that there were ants in the apartment. But I understand that this is a common practice in Malta."

"Absolutely huge apartment with two large balconies and three bathrooms. Plenty of hot water for 5 of us staying. Location is perfect in the centre of Mellieha (5 mins walk from restaurants and bars). Parking was always available on the street outside for free. There was a washing machine provided."

"It would be better if some more complimentary items were included - additional toilet rolls, toiletries (only hand soap included), spare towels, spare bedding. For a 9 night stay, 1 toilet roll per guest and 1 towel per guest, and no spare bedding, felt a bit stingy. Also for a long stay such as ours, a mid-way cleaning would have been welcomed. But I do note that cleaning products were included so we cleaned ourselves."

"The place was clean and neat. Getting there by public transport was super easy. There’s a discount store and a supermarket about a 5-minute walk away. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and peaceful."
