"New, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. Quiet in a safe district. 15 min in the bus number 10 or 12 to the city center. Alice, the owner who lives there, is very nice and helpful. She booked a taxi for us and woke up at 5.30a.m. to be sure that the taxi arrived. Excellent quality for a good price."

"Very isolated location in nature, but course enough to get to Groningen. There a window that you can look at the stars at with when you’re lying in bed!"

Carole and Jean-Yves are extremely friendly, make you feel at home straight away, and generously share tips and recommendations for your stay on the island. The facilities are not only functional but also particularly well designed for the guests' comfort."

Too many flies specially when we tried to have the canopes at sunset. Perhaps at the parking spot where pick ups, drop offs are made, have a little shed with a couple of chairs so people could sit down while they wait to be picked up cos we came in a cab and sometimes, the driver may have another hire so he has to drop us and go off. Also, do advise guests to bring a sweater as it gets chilly at night. We did have one but only cos a colleague of mine who had been to a desert camp b4 recommended it.

"Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers."

Ok, cold water showers, but hey.

"It’s not in the center BUT I got picked up with the motorbike and brought back to the center the next day. It’s directly to the caves so you can be the first in the cave the next morning after a night in the nature with a beautiful nightsky"
