"The owner and his stuff were quite friendly, it was a bit cold for most us but he brought us extra covers"

The thing about having points in access card to take shower, it’s not needed, people who are doing camping are nature friendly enough to do not waste water.

"Very nice view onto the valley and the volcano. We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well."

The water in the jacuzzi is warm but not hot, but it wasn’t bad and totally acceptable for being in the middle of nowhere.

"I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in the mountains. The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by lush nature and breathtaking views. The peaceful atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax, slow down, and enjoy the beauty of Bali. Special thanks to Sammy, for his kindness and for making guests feel so valued. "New, comfortable room with private bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Shared fully equipped kitchen. Good internet. Quiet in a safe district. 15 min in the bus number 10 or 12 to the city center. Alice, the owner who lives there, is very nice and helpful. She booked a taxi for us and woke up at 5.30a.m. to be sure that the taxi arrived. Excellent quality for a good price."

It is number 1 on the intercom when you arrive there. it is not written Conforto.

There was not enough space to stay with children. Showers needs renovation. Tents are too close to each other, so during the night you can hear everything.

The road to get to the lodge was in terrible shape.

It had to be expected but the rain falling on the tent made it hard to sleep, otherwise everything is good !

"The Mankwe tented retreat is a little gem of a place, strategically located between Moremi and Khwai, with a good access to Mababe area and thus offering a wide variety of habitats with very good biodiversity. The tents are comfortable and the setting is very secluded and peaceful ... we were the only people staying at it at the time! ;) The team are very friendly and the game drives in particular very good - Op deserves high praise!"

Food options could be a bit more varied, but the cook is rather responsive. The pool seemed in need of a refresh.

Not a problem with the campsite: there is 8 km unpaved road only to this place.

"Otentic was the most amazing authentic place. It felt super communal and was full of activities to fill the day. Amazing Creole food. Staff were wonderful! Would recommend to anyone. You NEED to stay here"

There was nothing that I didn’t like. I would offer a suggestion that a mosquito net is put over the bed.

"the slecuded. quiet peaceful grounds, the air circulation of sleeping in the tent, air flow thru mesh mosquito mesh, out side enclosed bathroom facilities,the yoga barn and good selection of books to to read in comfy arm chairs very nice plunger coffee with plunger ,over all a very pleasant 5 nights spent at this echo retreat"

maybe fresh seasonal fruit platter for breakfast as some photos show on their website, but, the muesli and little fruit, apple juice and coconut milk was very adequate

"The environment is super peaceful, beautiful and easily accessible. Communication was excellent, and I couldn't have chosen a better place to be surrounded by nature."
