"The owner was extremely welcoming and helpful, the garden is beautiful, the bungalows are nice. The location is good, neighborhood is silent, but it is a bit away from the busy areas and restaurants, so you need a car (but you need a car on Mahe anyway, so that is ok). There is a tiny, silent beach in 2 mins walk. If you prefer kind, local guesthouse owners and hospitality over luxury hotels, this is your place."

The beds are a bit firm.

"Simples e aconchegante, quarto tamanho médio, frigorífico em ótimas condições, jarra elétrica no quarto, há 6 chás 2 águas, a cama era confortável, macia, lençóis brancos, macio e pareciam bem limpos, toalhas brancas limpas e cheirosas, o quarto parecia limpo, TV em ótimo funcionamento, fácil acesso, fácil contato com administradores, 1km do centro mais ou menos. Casa de banho em bom estado, parecia limpo, com sabonete e tapete a água quente boa."

O chuveiro, pode melhorar a ducha.

"ארוחת בוקר טובה מאוד ומגוונת, ישיבה נוחה בשולחנות גדולים שמותאמים למשפחה, הדירה מקסימה ונוחה ומאובזרת עם כל מה שצריך הכל חדש ובסטנדרט גבוה. יש ליד אגם עם מגרש משחקים וטרמפולינות שהילדים מאוד אהבו. הדירות מעל רפת, ראינו המלטה של פרה(!) והזמינו אותנו גם לחלוב את הפרות אבל לא הספקנו. יש בחוץ חניה חופשית והרבה בימבות וטרקטורים לילדים שהבן שלי מאוד אהב. קרוב לאינסברוק יחסית, יש כמה אטרקציות קרובות והיה נחמד שלא צריך נסיעות ארוכות."

הכל היה מעולה. רק לקחת בחשבון שחייבים רכב והמיקום דורש נסיעה למסעדות/סופר למשל. היתה פיצריה יחסית קרובה וכל השאר קצת יותר רחוק.

"Sushma and her husband were really lovely and helpful - milk for the morning coffee, delicious Orange juice and the phone number of a reliable taxi driver 😊 We got great advice to get around in the area without using a car, all in walking distance of 15-30 mins. The bed is very comfortable. A huge bathroom with hot water."

It’s a residential area and in the evening it’s tricky to get a taxi at the main road to go to Grace Bay where you‘ll find most restaurants. To return is easy as there are always taxis at the Ritz Carlton. We didn’t want to rent a car as we only stayed 2 days which was okay in the day but a little tricky in the night.

"We loved Dar Nour & our cosy room. Very comfortable bed with good quality bed linen. Plenty of hot water. Delicious breakfasts & dinner. Lovely sitting room. Stylish decor. Very sweet & helpful staff. Could we please have the direct number of the owner as she suggested? Thank you."

There was an initial problem with payment to secure the booking. Our French is very poor & it was difficult to communicate with staff on the phone & by email. Some black mould in the wardrobe.

"This hotel was absolutely charming. Everything felt easy and relaxed, and everyone was incredibly helpful and chill from the moment I arrived. I loved my room, the beach, the food… honestly, everything. A special mention to Rudi at the breakfast restaurant — she was truly lovely and made my morning better with the delicious mimosa she prepared for me. I ended up extending my stay by one more night, and the team helped me move everything seamlessly to my new room. Since it was raining and I was leaving that day, they even proactively offered to put some of my clothes in the dryer because they had been hanging outside, which was such a thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to go back. Waking up to those views is something I’ll never forget — everything was just perfect."

"We were very happy with the location, it was calm and nice with swimming pool for kids and trampoline. Kids friendly. I would recommend further, maybe the beds could be more comfortable, but it was ok. Very nice owners, helpful and communicative."

"We got our room on the ground floor with a nice garden view. There are chairs in front of the room that we can use to enjoy afternoon sun and the garden. Good breakfast, sufficient choices, fresh and tasty. About 10 minutes drive to the nearby beaches, supermarket"

"Rose and the rest of the staff - they couldn’t do more to help and to make our stay the best! The place is in lovely old-style buildings with beautifully furnished rooms in a peaceful location. We loved the short cycle on complementary bikes to West Bay for the sunsets."

The lighting outside the room, in the halls, was not dimmed during the night. The rooms have coloured glass windows/ doors so was difficult for sleeping during the night.

"I really like small boutique hotels and S Chalet is one of the best. The staff were exceptional, very helpful. The location was great and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinner , varied and tasty. A great welcome for our first visit to Pakistan."

"The kindness of Elen and John was above and beyond what you could ever expect . Elen made us an excellent dinner . She also let us keep our room through the next day so that we had somewhere to return to to shower after a day out ( our flight home was in the evening) . These are good people."

There was nothing we didn't like.

"Nous sommes restés une nuit seulement car il s'agissait d'un point d'étape pour nous. L'accueil était très bon, et le petit déjeuné vraiment super et très local."

Le lit est vraiment ferme, mais les 3 logements de notre séjour étaient comme ça donc j'imagine que c'est classique en Guadeloupe.

המקום עדיין דורש השלמת בינוי- לא ממליץ בינתיים להגיע עם ילדים קטנים (חסר שם מעקה במדרגות- מאמין שיתוקן בקרוב). יש חדר אמבטיה יחיד- קצת מורכב עם מגיעים חמישה.

"Great accommodation in “middle of nowhere”. Quiet place with superb rooms, brand new. Fully equipped kitchen available. Proactive and nice receptionist! I wish to stay there more than one night!"

Good breakfast including local dishes as well as English breakfast (eggs, ham/sausage) and Jogurt with fruits; although out of Kenting town, convenience store, restaurants and scooter rental (ask for Sha, very friendly and helpful guy!) in short walking distance;"

Springy bed is uncomfortable and noisy.

"The evening meal provided at a very reasonable cost was one of the best I've had in a b&b. All organic salad and vegetables and that was also true of the wonderful breakfasts that are included in the room price. The location was spectacular, amazing views over the valleys below."

There really wasn't anything to dislike as far as I was concerned.

המקלחת בסך הכל בסדר, פשוט אין מים חמים. יש את המכשיר הזה שעושה מים חמים אבל הוא לא עושה. אפשר לשלם רק במזומן.

There was nothing we didn't like.

"Warm and cozy for the winter. New building, electric keylocs. Cozy bed with clean sheets and towels. My room also featured a hairdryer, although it isn’t mentiones in the amenities."

There were a lot of roaches in the bathroom, quite impressive to still find these in December. I was provided with the access codes 2 hours after the check-in time, although i tries reaching out to them several times (booking, call and text message). They finally replied with the codes only about 20 mins before I got to the place.

Hélas clim défectueuse mais hôte réactif en nous proposant un ventilateur très silencieux et ce fut très bien.

"Green garden, idylic sourroundings. Best place for birdwatching whole day. artisane buildings of clay and many creative items to discover in the garden. Go to the river and find a canoe birding tour through mangrove rooted green jungle. Long beach, cool regae music. Party at full moon if you are lucky. Area big enough to have distance to party ground for sleeping. Carismatic owner. Self cooked big and delicious meals, real coffee and big variety of teas. Cold beer and bar, big parking area"

Not air condtioned, bur ventilator is sufficient for comfy stay, sooth winds from the bay

"The location was out of this world. Having various room types: stone houses, bungalows or tents. Clean & calm if you are searching for some relaxation in the middle of the nature. The food is amazingly good in a very well decorated restaurant and the views of the mountains and valleys are wonderful."

"Friendly owner, clean place, comfortable bed, basic kitchen appliances in the room, as well as in the shared kitchen. Nice little outside seating areas. Quiet location, walking distance to the ferry. You can also rent a car from the owner should you need one."

Not much space in the room to move around, the on suite bathroom was a bit uncomfortable (really just a lil plastic box in the room, kinda see thru and if you wanna take a shower, everything gets wet and the room gets humid) so we opted for the shared bathroom in the hallway. The fan in the shared kitchen didn't work and there aren't many plates/bowls etc.
