"Location was fabulous, just down the road from the Presidential Palace although the road is a little unkempt. An easy walk into the town for restaurants and the main market centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxing bar / restaurant."

Taxis do not like to drive to the Hotel as the road is not great and has some big ruts at the town end, leaving you with the choice of a short walk or paying more. It's about a 400 yard walk and not hard or dangerous.

The room was basic (ie basic bathroom, wardrobe, tv, no desk) and was in the process of being cleaned when I arrived, but then this could be reflected in the 'budget' cost I paid for the accommodation.

"The staff were really kind and helpful. And they never even expect to be tipped. We wanted to tip the girl who was so helpful to us throughout our stay but there was nobody there on the day we left because our flight was too early."

"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

The pool is big, nice, and clean, and can substitute the sea during the windy days. There was an everyday cleaning with 2 times a week towels change. The location of the hotel is perfect, not in the very noisy area but close to any attraction/facility. The prices at the bar/restaurant are similar to the prices of others."

The only minus to me were the Russians that stayed there as they cannot behave civilized. It was pleasant to stay at the hotel with Europeans.

The bed was too soft I ached all over

"מיקום מעולה, במרכז, קרוב להכל, אתרים, מסעדות בתי קפה בשפע והכל במרחקי הליכה, אין צורך בתחבורה ציבורית. הדירה מאוד נקייה ונעימה, שני חדרים וסלון ושני חדרי ושרותים, מטבחון יעיל, החלפת מגבות והוספת תה/קפה/סוכר בכל יום, דירה מרווחת מאוד."

מזרונים ישנים ולא נוחים, כיבוי החימום בלילה למרות שהטמפרטורה בחוץ מינוס 8 ואפילו מינוס 10 כך שהדירה בלילה קרה. לעומת זאת חמה ביום אך ביום טיילנו, זרם המים במקלחות יחסית חלש אך יש מים חמים תמיד.

"מיקום מעולה, הכל במרחק הליכה. מאפיה מעולה במרחק 2 דקות הליכה וסופרים גדולים קרובים. מטבח מאובזר לגמרי."

"The Apartment was very comfortable, warm, nicely equipped and has everything you need. It is quiet, the beds are comfortable with two nice bedrooms and dark curtains, so you can sleep very well. It even has a small balcony."

It is quite far away from the city but the Luas makes it very easy to get there, so it is really ok as a location. There is not much around, but the supermarket is close and some food-places too.

"Все сподобалося! Місце розташування - далеко від шуму міста. Будиночки розташовани на достатній відстані один від одного, тому сусідів також не чути. Їжа - смачні сніданки і можливість замовити обід/вечерю прямо в будиночок. Затишок - камін і чан ❤️"
