"The view from our room, any room in fact, looked out over the crashing waves that rolled in from the Indian Ocean. Biggest room weve had in Bali.The staff were ready to look after our every whim. They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."

"PROPERTY WAS GOOD AND THE STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL. ONLY CONCERN WAS THER VERY LESS OPTION FOR VEGITEARIAN PEOPLE. THEY ONLY PROVIDE BREADS, ONE OR TWO CERALS, FRUITS AND SOME RICE ITEMS, WHICH IS NOT ENOUGH ."

"Amazing small scale resort with wonderful attentive and kind staff. We had a wonderful stay with our two young kids. The room and grounds were well taken care of, and ample to do with yoga, spa and water sports. The best food that we had in Kiwengwa as well. Would love to come back."

The fact that, despite the heat, rooms were not supplied with drinking water & this had to be ordered from room service at $5 a small bottle. We had just arrived from staying at the Hamilton Princess hotel in Bermuda &, as is normal for luxury hotels of this standard, that had no problem in supplying drinking water to guests free of charge.

"Excellent place, we knew already and came back! Spacious, modern installations, great big pool area, good service and attention. Good restaurant. Great views to the sunset, excellent for a cople of sundowners."

"Magic Reef is a beautiful resort, very relaxing. The bungalows are well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. It was also great to have our own comfortable lounge chairs on the deck to take in the views out over the reef, watching the waves crashing and the sun setting which was all simply breathtaking. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance down the beach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing time. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore around the island, enjoy some beach swimming, snorkeling and to eat at some different restaurants. The pool was great, lovely temperature and depth. Our hosts and all the staff were friendly, helpful and we enjoyed talking with them. Thanks for the beautiful platter in the fridge, the beers, juice etc which was so appreciated. We would highly recommend Magic Reef if you like a small boutique resort."

"היו קצת תקלות בחדר ובשביל הסכום המאוד גבוהה ששילמנו זה היה קצת צורם להיתקל בבעיות. הם הקשיבו לנו ופיצו אותנו בכמה דברים קטנים שביקשנו.. הוילה יפה אך קצת מיושנת, הנוף והבריכה אחלה ממש."

Our room was cold, Maintenance came to sort it out but he didn't really know much about the thermostat, said he sorted it and it won't take long to heat uo, but never did, wasn't ideal with a little baby, said baby was asleep by time we realised it wasn't heating up. A small blemish on what was otherwise a really nice stay.

חסר מקום לתליית מגבות לייבוש. האוכל בארוחת הבוקר והערב היה פחות לטעמנו..

"The first thing that stands out is the friendly staff - polite and nothing was too much trouble. Probably the best we’ve encountered. We were even given a very late check out of 4pm as our flight was a night time one. The location is beautiful: white sandy beaches and clear blue sea. The food was good and plentiful and the hotel and surroundings were clean and well kept. A very enjoyable stay!"

Great customer service too, we appreciated the followup email asking if there is anything we need during our stay and our request was immediately granted."

Staff could have been a bit more friendlier, especially Hemingway/receptionists. Also there was a slight smell of mold in our room. You can pay in EUR, but not worth it since the change you will get back is in USD, hence losing money.

Everything was great!

"Our suite came with a hot tub on the balcony. It was beautiful view and the rooms were super comfortable. The suite also came with a glass of wine and complimentary breakfast buffet the next day. It was very pleasant and nice. We enjoyed our stay."
