"We are familiar with the location, being former Whangarei residents. Distance from town is immaterial especially as our business was in the Kamo area. Comparison with 3 other locations we have stayed in previously, Lupton was exceptional"

"The Lodge was in a nice location, rooms were large, the beds were very comfortable and it had a great shower.it was nice to have breakfast included which we all enjoyed. It is the perfect location for a peaceful getaway. We would definitely stay again."

Julie assisted us with planning activities, booking, making perfect recommendations and we could have stayed at their place for weeks with total satisfaction. The apartment was close to downtown and we walked several times a day along the beach both to downtown and to the Waitangi treaty grounds. If I could rate our stay with 20 stars, I would definitely have done so!! We can't wait to return some time in the near future...look no further than the gateway motel and apartments...you won't regret it, that I can assure you!!"
