"I loved the general atmosphere of this colourful welcoming hostel. So far I have stayed two times. There were enough facilities, nice kitchen and garden with leisure area. There is mint growing in the garden for tea, etc. The staff was helpful, a young woman for the afternoon/evening shift the most. When I stated a problem a solution was offered which is great. In this case it was regarding cleaning (which was not the case when I stayed first time), I was offered another room and I was told that the issue will be discussed with the cleaning team next day. I really liked that the kitchen is closed after 10 pm, so it limits the noise at night. Overall it was always nice and quiet stay for good money."

"Lovely staff, really informative and kind. The hostel Backpackers was clean, comfortable and nice inside and out. Absolutely brilliant location - close to bus stops, Cuba Street, good eateries and has all you could need in the Backpackers. A fully functional kitchen, a lounge where you can chill with your buddies, board games to play, a nice outdoor deck. I also like the fact they had a female only bathroom downstairs. The showers were excellent, too!"
