The food is of a high quality and is served personally by the chef who takes great pride in explaining the ingredients! It’s important to remember the challenges the chef must face with produce in such a remote area. The chef does a great job despite such challenges. All staff were super friendly and professional and made the stay extra special. The views are incredible. The wood burner creates a warm and inviting ambience."

"Einfach alles. Vom Check- in bis hin zum Check- out war unser Aufenthalt einfach fantastisch. Das Personal war jeden Tag sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Unterkunft war top. Die Unterkunft an sich war sehr sauber und man fühlte sich gleich wie zuhause. Unser Zimmer war auch sehr gut ausgestattet und das Bett war ein Traum. Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung und ist gibt tolle Aktivitäten, die man buchen kann. Wir waren sehr beeindruckt und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder."

"It was amazing, a historic house fully renovated and overwhelming comfy in the Norwegian "nowhere" with hosts who really care of their guests, prepared many lovingly things and information. Our stay was way too short to try hikes in the wood or using the raw boat. This is an absoluty "yes, anytime again"!"

"We had quite low expectations, but the stay exceeded all of them by far :). We got a bit different rooms from what we’ve seen on the picture, or in our imagination… but they have only 5 special rooms, and all of them have their own story and design. The house is more than 200 years old, it has a long history, and you feel it in the air, in every small detail of the house, all the attention and details of décor. The house has impressive yard (if you are lucky with the weather), you can swim in the sea. The bathrooms and a toilet are shared among all the tenants, but we had no queues or overlapping with our other tenants staying the same night. It was one of the most unique hotels we stayed at, it has a soul! Lovely stay and experience for our family of four."
