"Great location, 5 minutes from the center but isolated and more quiet. Room is huge, with kitchen hallway for sitting down, bathroom and big bedroom. The stuff are super nice and helpful, but please be aware they speak only Spanish if it is an issue for you."

"The rooms are pretty old and outdated. The shower wasn't great and the power plugs weren't located conveniently. But this is just nitpicking. This is a great place for the price."

"The staff were lovely, the room was big and quiet. There was a fridge in the room (which I’ve come to realise after multiple stays in Mexico is not always the norm) and the building was secure. It’s a great location as it’s 2 blocks from the Main Street so very close and a safe walk (solo female traveller) and in between to oxxos but far enough so you don’t have so much foot fall and traffic noise. The rooftop is a nice place to chill in the sun or shade."

"There is a note requesting we tip cleaners - which is absolutely fine but on day two they literally put the duvet over my bed (didn’t make the bed) and didn’t wash the glass and bowl I had used. I was assuming I tipped at the end of my stay so not sure if they did this because they didn’t see a daily tip but after that I decided not to tip at all because regardless, the cleaner should clean the room. Bathroom does have a slight damp smell but nothing offensive."

"The terrace with its wonderful view and comfortable seating. The front desk personnel we helpful and responsive. The location close to the Zocalo, 20 Novembre Market walking distance to Centro. Lots of purified water available for free."

"The location is great, not too far from the central Zocalo, the town square, and easily accessible. The accomodation was large, a little dark (but that's due to the architecture in Oaxaca in general). The bed was comfy. I tend to base my reviews mostly on how well I slept, and I slept well here. The staff were friendly and there was filtered water available from tanks in the corridor, which was great."

"The room was a little dated and quite dusty, under the bed could do with a decent clean... If you are self catering (this place does have a little kitchen after all), then you will need to bring stuff, very lacking - one cup, one pan one plate, and no knives or much else for these purposes... luckily we were not self catering. Could do with a new shower head."

"Beautiful colourful accomodation with a great rooftop area to hang out. Great rooms with kitchen facilities and a fridge if you want to cook for yourself. Close to delicious restaurants and the historic centre. Netflix option on the tv. Staff were very helpful"

"Really big/thick pillows, but that’s personal preference. The shower was pretty on par with most showers in Mexico so can’t complain."
