Super calm and peaceful in beautiful surroundings - a tonic after Dakar and Saint Louis. Relatively accessible for Saloum Delta which we loved. Great air conditioning. Lovely swimming pool"

Water pressure was low at certain times - pipe being repaired, so perhaps temporary. You'll need a car to get around (we got a taxi for 10.000 - 15.000 CFA each way to Ndangane.)

"Location is wonderful, feeling very close to pure nature. We love the swimming, sauna, hanging matt, beach and the hike around."

The cottage is really small and stuffy esp when it’s hot. window without mosquito net, thus we cannot leave it open in the nite, too much mosquitos and horse fly.

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"It is a unique carribean cottage, which is a little gem. It is a five minute walk to a lovely beach. We cooked in as the kitchen had everything one required. We had our meal out on the verandah next to the kitchen and watched the sunset. Sabina is a wonderful hostess. When we arrived she tried to book as into a restaurant but it was full so she took us to the local supermarket to ensure we would have a good meal. Keith was also really helpful and a great guy. We wished we had booked it for longer."

"Simple and wonderfully personal. Great little cottage with stunning views of the Atiu forests and genuinely friendly help from the proprietor. Everything worked like it should. Great stay, sad to leave."

"Lovingly furnished, clean accommodation in a family atmosphere with hospitable landlords, good sanitary standards and air conditioning, cozy terrace, very good and plentiful breakfast with fruit and local side dishes, option for dinner with excellent Sri Lankan cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed. "The mountains scenery and the serenity of the place make Le massif de Laqlouq an ideal getaway. During our stay, we felt we are well taken care of; the staff was constantly checking upon us and assisting us with any request."

"Nice hostel, a good choice if you are on a budget in Mestia. You can easily meet other trekkers. Quiet place, nice kitchen, clean bathroom with nice shower, big balcony + space outside."

"A little gem of a hotel in a most beautiful location. The staff give an extremely warm reception, they are super friendly, very helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and what can be done…..if they didn’t know, they knew someone who does. For example, they arranged a night watching the turtles and a guide to walk some local waterfalls. The food was out of this world, fresh and local produce cooked by chefs who’ve been cooking their whole life."

"Great location and generously sized apartment. beds and linen all good. Nespresso machine and pods a nice touch."

Some of the appliances are tired and therefore unreliable and need updating . The internal phones dont work so if there is a problem you have to call the reception in a building down the hill on your cell which if you are from abroad is an expensive exercise.

"Comfy bed, mosquito net, breakfast, prime support from host, water refill, close to national park, peacefully quiet , good food and also in the neighbourhood - what else would you want more… Loved it"

"If you are looking for an exceptional place to stay on the Coromandel peninsula, this is it. The Lodge is quite large with everything you could need: kitchenette, couch and TV, comfy bed, large bathroom (tub + huge shower), terrace and the a spectacular view of Whitianga! As you would expect, it was very quiet, and the layout is such that, that you can enjoy total privacy. Carol and Warren were very welcoming and we had a nice chat every morning with Warren as he brought us a lovely breakfast. The road up the lodge is fairly steep but it wasn't an issue at all, so if you have a decent car I wouldn't worry about it. While in our particular case, we didn't have the best weather throughout the stay, we appreciated that the lodge is furnished so as to feel like home, which made for a cozy day in. I could tell that there was a lot of thought put into the furnishing and decorating of the lodge!"

"המקום מעוצב בצורה יפיפה, הרגשה של גן עדן, ירוק לאן שלא מסתכלים. מיקום הכינוס המרכזי נעים ונח, עם שולחן ביליארד, קליעה למטרה, והרבה פריטי נוי יפים. גם בחדר עצמו, הרגשה של פשטות ובחירה יפה של פרטי ריהוט טבעיים. הצוות מאד חברותי ועזר בכל מה שביקשנו. נהנינו מאד מהבריזכה המתוקה שנמצאת במרכז."

הריחוק מהחוף - מצד אחד היה צורך לנסוע כל פעם, כי זה לא במרחק הליכה, מצד שני זאת היתה חוויה להיות על בודה בודה וזה גם איפשר להיות במקום יותר שקט
