"Great location, very quiet area, 5mins to walk to the seafront. Excellent for those who are looking relax and spend some quality time with themselves or family."

Room was a little bit smelly but it wasn’t a huge issue for us

"זו שנה שנייה שלנו בפאלאק: פאלאק מתאים לאוהבי 'הארד קור' סיני- החושות על הים פשוטות ונעימות כמו סיני של פעם. יש בפאלאק שקט קסום ואווירת חופש והתנתקות ובפעמיים שהיינו הגיעו למקום זוגות או משפחות עם ילדים יחסית גדולים כך שמי שמחפש שקט מופתי- זה המקום. ארוחת הבוקר בכללי בסיני די צנועה... הוספנו כל בוקר סלט יווני מעולה וזה סגר פינה. אחמד ואישתו אנשים אדיבים ומקסימים ועושים ככול יכולתם כדי לייצר שהות נעימה. על אף שבפאלאק אין מאווררים בחושה, לא הרגשנו שחם למעט ערב אחד (היינו בתחילת אוקטובר) ויש בריזה נעימה מהים. יש שיפור משמעותי באוכל משנה שעברה והכל היה ממש אחלה!"

הזרם במקלחות ממש חלש. הזבובים בבוקר מעצבנים אבל אפשר לבקש כילה.

"המקום מעוצב בצורה יפיפה, הרגשה של גן עדן, ירוק לאן שלא מסתכלים. מיקום הכינוס המרכזי נעים ונח, עם שולחן ביליארד, קליעה למטרה, והרבה פריטי נוי יפים. גם בחדר עצמו, הרגשה של פשטות ובחירה יפה של פרטי ריהוט טבעיים. הצוות מאד חברותי ועזר בכל מה שביקשנו. נהנינו מאד מהבריזכה המתוקה שנמצאת במרכז."

הריחוק מהחוף - מצד אחד היה צורך לנסוע כל פעם, כי זה לא במרחק הליכה, מצד שני זאת היתה חוויה להיות על בודה בודה וזה גם איפשר להיות במקום יותר שקט

"The room was very beautiful and comfortable. The food was excellent. The best we had in the Dominican Republic so far and the price is extremely reasonable. The staff was professional and friendly. I would definitely go back for the food and for the comfortable room."

We had to change room as we didn’t know from the description, that it was in a shared apartment. That information should be clear on booking.

"Comfortable stay in a Vintage house, outback-Australia style. Has all things in the kitchen to use if self catering.Hot shower .Central, close to a lovely beach and restaurants. But 2 km from main supermarket. Recommended"

"Comfy bed, mosquito net, breakfast, prime support from host, water refill, close to national park, peacefully quiet , good food and also in the neighbourhood - what else would you want more… Loved it"

Unfortunately there weren’t enough cots but they ensured when we came back a couple of days later there was one for us. Perhaps a few more cots are needed.

"Everything. In summer, when the site is full of campers, the view from the cabin would be obscured by tents. But, end of September, when we visited, our view was green lawns sloping down to the river. Lovely."

Booking.com told us it was 7 miles from Vianden. It is not. 22-24 depending which route you choose. We had planned to go the 7 miles back to Vianden for dinner, but 22 winding miles? No.

"The people were so friendly and helpful. They gave us a free lift into town and back and answered all of our questions. The setting is beautiful next to the water with a lovely log cabin. I'd definitely stay again, especially in summer as it's a great alternative to Ciudad del Este."

It can be a bit cold if the weather isn't good.

"The position. I was very skeptical due to bad reviews on booking.com but I found a well maintained and peaceful place. I was staying in a superior room, so can’t comment on the standard ones."

Restaurant choice was very limited but food was good

The other villa R3 was not bad just that it could use some improvements in the spare bedrooms

"I stayed at Little Garden House and found it to be a charming and comfortable place, especially suitable for cyclists or other travelers looking for a peaceful stop. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, but once there, everything went smoothly. The host was very friendly and welcoming. She gave a helpful introduction to the facilities, including the cabin itself, the kitchen, and the shower area. The small cabin was cozy and pleasant, and the kitchen and sauna/shower located in an old outbuilding were also perfectly adequate for my needs. Overall, a nice and practical accommodation option in a quiet setting."

"Very welcoming and happy staff. They were so kind and caring. The place was warm and the fire place in the common area was a nice touch (we visited in winter). Everything was explained so well. We loved the pool and onsen! Truly a spa resort! Thanks."

"Staff went above and beyond to make our stay for my birthday a wonderful experience. Hotel was in the perfect location for ease of access to the train station and the town itself. Amenities were clean and room was spacious."

Overall the decor and energy of the hotel felt a bit dated but not a massive complaint that would stop me from booking again in the future as there was more positives to outweigh the aesthetic.

"Simple and wonderfully personal. Great little cottage with stunning views of the Atiu forests and genuinely friendly help from the proprietor. Everything worked like it should. Great stay, sad to leave."

"Fantastic location. Great facilities and will be even better shortly with new tents under construction. Excellent meals and extremely friendly and helpful hosts. Take the food and day trip offerings- you won't regret it but stay at least 2 nights to really enjoy the location."

"Staff are great, facilities are very good, the room nice size with a good bathroom, nice shower. Lovely gardens. Good breakfast. Attractive ambience.VERY QUIET in a nice location. Even a refrigerator in the room plus TV."

The mattress was slightly too hard.

"Super place for the price. I had my own room with air con and a toilet and shower. It’s 800m about to the bus station and walking distance to most restaurants and stores in Savusavu. Practically next door to the historic Planters Club. Ron the owner is really kind and at the beginning drove me around to show me what I could do in Savusavu. I had a wonderful stay"

Sometimes it can get a bit noisy if the early morning ferry leaves for Suva a couple of times a week. I stayed in the front facing g the ocean. Maybe it was quieter at the back? But really there were no complaints
