"Lovely guesthouse in a beautiful location. Bed was super comfortable and her cooking was one of the best we had on our hike. We would have extended our stay longer if she had availability."

"Great and unusual stay! Because is non tourist season, most of places near were closed, but owner kindly suggested to us where we can enjoy food - place Ataman, with kind woman i house athmosfer. Super clean place, amazing view, birds, and parking - everything for the trip on wild nature. They also have very cute cat if you love animals 😊 Forest near, lake, we really enjoyed walking around."

"אהבנו הכל. דירה מתוקה. פונה לנוף. מתוחזקת מצוין. קיבלה את פנינו נציגת המקום במאור פנים. ולקחה אותנו לדירה המקסימה. שמחוממת עם חימום תת רצפתי. חלונות גדולים הפונים לנוף מקסים. מתקנים נוחים בדירה. ונקיים. גם לקראת ההגעה קיבלנו מייל הסבר מפורט. ואין ספק שזה היה הבית שהכי אהבנו בכל שלושת שבועות של טיול."

"Nice forest hut on the edge of a forest - 10 min to a beach by foot. You are really almost in the middle of nature here. The forest was full of blackberries when we were there. The kitchenette corner is smallish but sufficient to make a meal for a family of four."

It may be a bit challenging to find the right road leading to the house, but we managed. Go past the road leading to the two storey apartment houses, and turn to the left of the warehouse-like structure which is further on the road.

"Everything was exceptional - the hospitality, the service, the setting, the food, the environment. The service was some of the best I have ever experienced. The safari guides were exceptionally knowledgeable - we learned a great deal and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of every game drive. The food was 10/10 - I am gluten free and they prepared a separate menu for me every meal time. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!"

Nothing - I do not have a bad word to say about Long Lee. It exceeded our expectations and more.

"Exceptional environment, well-kept, among the trees, calm, peaceful. The cottages are built in such a way that they have a pleasant temperature without air conditioning or fans. At night, for the first time in Gambia, I had to cover myself with a duvet. The owner and staff were extremely kind, accommodating, unobtrusive."

"Large room. Great hot water. Friendly helpful staff. Make sure you book the aircon room though. It is a different price on Booking.com but well worth the extra money in the heat."

"Beautiful views of Apia. We literally had the whole place to ourselves. It provided a calm quiet space that we didn't expect."

Unfortunately there were a few minor issues when we arrived, that eventually got sorted. Given the circumstances of the week prior & sending our condolences to the family, I'm not surprised things were a little off the mark. A broom in the unit be great to keep the floors free of bugs & dirt. We still loved our stay regardless.

"ВСЕ!!! 10 дней, которые мы были в отеле, были окружены заботой, теплом, вниманием и помощью персонала по всем вопросам (включая практически невозможный обмен авиабилетов из Янгона в Бангкок не выходя из отеля) Пляж - просто прекрасен. Да, на нем нет удобств (кроме лежаков около отеля), но и отдыхающих, в общем-то, тоже нет. И 1,5 км пустынного пляжа в твоем полном распоряжении каждый день - что может быть лучше... Еда в ресторане не блещет разнообразием, но ОЧЕНЬ достойная. Морепродукты, естественно, свежайшие, каждый день! Отдельные слова благодарности хозяйке! За почти 30 лет путешествий по миру было очень немного мест, где хозяин лично встречает и провожает гостей, и каждый день интересуется настроением и возможными вопросами к проживанию. Если будет возможность - непременно стоит сюда приехать!!!"

"האירוח, המקום, השירות האוכל, הכל היה מושלם! לקח לנו קצת זמן להתרגל, להוריד את הקצב לזרום ולהתחבר. אבל אחרי שזה קורה, אתה לא רוצה לעזוב את המקום. בטוח נחזור. תודה לקרים, לשרקווי ולעאטף שהפכו את החוויה שלנו למדהימה ונתנו שירות מעולה ותמיד בחיוך!"

בזמן ששנינו עשו שיפוצים במקום, קצת פגם בשקט, אבל הקול של הגלים היה חזק יותר 😉 חדר הרחצה קטן, בהתחלה התבאסנו אבל כנראה שבסוף מתרגלים להכל

"Great location, very quiet area, 5mins to walk to the seafront. Excellent for those who are looking relax and spend some quality time with themselves or family."

Room was a little bit smelly but it wasn’t a huge issue for us

"Lodge was great with comfortable room, excellent buffet dining room facility and small swimming pool to cool off in between excursions. The highlights are the 2-3 times daily excursions which really make the high cost absolutely worth it. Our guide, Alfredo, was amazing, bi-lingual, sensitive to the local environment and even played the guitar over dinner and breakfast!"

Only downside really is the fact that there is only 1 included boat time to the lodge and back from Iquitos. We had to pay $180 extra for a personal boat because LatAm airlines brought our flight forward - not the lodge's fault, but something to look out for.

"This property was tucked away in the rain forest. Alejandro was exceptional, his knowledge of nature and the beneficial properties of plants from his garden which he had specifically grown was like having a professor with us all the time. He and His wife Christiana also incorporated some of the fruit and vegetables into our stunning breakfasts which were freshly prepared each morning.. Alejandro was incredibly helpful booking restaurants. He always greeted us with a smile and was a perfect host. We felt perfectly relaxed by the end of the stay."

Would have liked more light, and water pressure but to be honest we didn’t mention it to him so he could fix it.

ארוחת בוקר היתה טובה אמנם חשבנו שיהיה לא רק לחם לבן. היה חסר ירקות. שמחנו שהיתה ארוחת ערב אבל לא תמיד הרגשנו שהוא היה מספיק ברמה. במקלחת בחדר אין ניקוז מספק והכל נרטב.

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"We were generously upgraded to the Langakali house from the Heilala initially booked at no extra charge. This worked out perfect having the extra bathroom. The house was easily accessible on our arrival with overall good communication from the renters. Nina was beautiful and did countless loads of washing for us with no hesitation included in the accomodation price. Green Lodge is close proximity to town and our families village so was a prime location for us. Screens on doors and windows were a plus, coils and basic toiletries and essentials were provided and ample storage throughout. A quiet area that felt very safe. Style of the house is older, but comfortable enough, we felt at home being here."

Although screens were throughout, you will still need repellent and extra coils. The ensuite bathroom toilet wouldn’t always flush properly and the wifi wasn’t working. It would be a plus to have one more fan in the third bedroom of the Langakali house and

המיטות האותנטיות היה קצת פחות נוחות ובמיוחד הכריות הקשות, אבל זה חלק מהחוויה😃 המקלחון הקטן מאוד

"במיקום מאוד מאוד קסום! פרטי ומנותק ובאמת אתה טובע בירוק של היער! ארוחת בוקר מעולה, ג'קוזי שהוא ממש חווייה, ממליצים מאוד והלוואי שנחזור."

זה לא משהו שלא אהבתי אלא סתם הערה - תהיו מוכנים להגיע למקום נידח באמצע היער. אני ציפיתי טיפה למשהו יותר מטופח וזה היה קצת שוק בהתחלה, אבל כשמכוונים מחדש את הציפיות זה מסתדר ומצליחים להנות מהחוויה הסופר מיוחדת. הדבר היחיד שבאמת לא נהננו ממנו היה הארוחת ערב, לא התחברנו בכלל למאכלים הגאורגים ולצערנו המלון לא סיפק איזשהי תחליף והיינו צריכים לשלם מחיר מלא על מנות שלא נאכלו.

"The place and outlook are very nice on the vulcano, from room and from jacuzzi :) The secret hike trail is very nice and should not be missed (Mariposa trail?). Jacuzzi is also very nice extra."

Breakfast could be a little more. You can choose from a menu. It was good, but an additional side or some bread would be nice. The street to the hotel could better maintained.
