"בעל בית נחמד. אוסטרלי במקור , דובר אנגלית. בא לאסוף אותנו מהמעבורת לחדר. איש שיחה המכיר היטב את המקום ומוכן ברצון לספק אינפורמציה. יש מתקן למים מינרלים עם שימוש חופשי. בחדר מקרר ומזגן שהיה תוספת חשובה במזג אויר החם . החדר נמצא מחוץ למרכז אבל ליד הרבה מסעדות נחמדות. מהמרפסת יש נוף של הנהר. בעל הבית דאג לנו לאופניים להשכרה. רכיבה נעימה לאי הסמוך."

"Rooms were spacious, great hot water and comfy bed. The area was close to everything but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle. Rooms were also sound proof. Darrin was very helpful, he recommended and booked us on a great hiking tour which I can highly recommend."

"The rooms are really nice with soundproof wall and aircon (you need aircon). The bed is really comfortable. The owner is super friendly and helps you with information on the island."

"For the price it would be nice to have in the room some things like shower gel etc. or instant coffee (there is a kettle and cups). Another advice: Bring USD...if you want to pay in Kip the exchange rate is not the best."

"Darren was extremely helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived in Don Det, even picking us up from the dock on his motorcycle. Darren gave us lots of good recommendations across the island and had a free water refilling station in the main office. The room was basic but very nice and clean, even changing our towels etc. We extended our stay here because the island and Moon by Night were both so lovely. Thanks again, Darren!"

"A short 10 minute walk from the ferry. Darren was the perfect host. Offering pick up and drop off to the ferry as well as information on what to see and how to traverse both islands (recommend bicycle) A well stocked fridge and as for the sunset views from sitting outside your room or on a hammock, breathtaking."

"Darren is a super host. He will do anything to ensure you enjoy your stay. He picked us up from the ferry port (10 min walk) and made us very welcome. The accommodation has large rooms, comfortable bed, hot shower and a well stocked fridge and kettle. In addition to this, the rooms are built of concrete, unlike most bungalows here where it is paper thin bamboo. So we has a vert quiet stay with no real noise. The bungalows are just on the edge of the centre, so we didn't have any loud to spoil our stay. There are loads of restaurants and bars, all within a 5 to 10 minute walk. With a great selection of local and international cuisine. A great place to stay and a great host. Oh, and great sunsets."

"Darren is very helpful and welcoming. The guesthouse is in a great location, far enough away from Don Det village to be quiet, but not too far. Plenty of good restaurants nearby for dinner and breakfast, and it's an ideal place for sunset. Darren helped move my bags to the next place."
