DD guesthouse

"המיקום נמצא חצי שעה הליכה מהמרכז, החדרים מהממים. היינו אמורים להיות בחדר זוגי פשוט ובגלל טעות שודרגנו לחדר עם נוף להרים. החדר מהמם, גדול, המקלחת ענקית, היו מים חמים בכל פעם שהתקלחנו. יש מזגן וגם מאוורר קיר ככה שחום לא היה בעיה בכלל. ארוחת הבוקר טעימה מאוד, מגיעה עם פירות טריים, מיץ מנגו, קפה ותה. עוזרת הבית מהממת ברמות! כל כך חמודה ועזרה לנו עם המזוודות, תמיד חייכנית באמת מושלמת. הבעלים גם חמוד ברמות עזר לנו בכל שאלה שהיינו צריכים. יש שירותי כביסה בעלות."

"יש רק מדרגות והיינו קומה שנייה אז קצת קשוח עם מזוודות וציוד אבל חוץ מזה באמת ממליצה ממש!"

"This is the reason to come to VV. Real slow country side living. Lush rice fields with buffalos soaking in ponds, kids heading goats, etc. Restaurant and shop next door for basic needs. 15mins walk from scooter rental, laundry, The kiwi kitchen. Another 5mins you're in the uninspiring, dusty, construction site of a town. I was so happy to pick this place. Room with window is so worth it. The views are just like the photos. Wake up to paramotor and hot air balloons outside your window. Watch the morning misty mountains change throughout the day. Just 30mis drive to all the lagoons and view points. If you need a tour, transport etc Mr. BEN is just a WhatsApp away. I had the best few days. Relaxing, safe, clean rooms."

"I'm a light sleeper and woke up at 6:30am every morning to paramotor sounds. Not too bad, made a coffee and watched the sunrise. Outside areas were a little dirty (dust and ants) but it comes with living in the country side. This place is very simple and self service. Stock up your fridge with some beers before the shop closes and have an early night."

"The views from the guesthouse were incredible! It’s nice and quiet due to being outside of town. Room itself was large and had everything you’d need. We booked our hot air balloon, powermotor and buggy rental with the place next door and they were also great."

"The lady who works there doesn’t speak much English so we had to use Google translate alot, wasn’t the biggest problem for us. Because it’s just her there doing everything - cleaning, washing, breakfast etc. it was sometimes hard to find her if needed. It is a 15/20 minute walk out from town."

"Incredible view from the room and common areas. The owner and staff were very attentive and quick to help/answer questions. We got a free upgrade. A lot of natural light in the room and a big and clean bathroom. Free breakfast was delicious and filling. Close to popular outdoor activities. Sounds of the countryside and view on cows and buffalos + a brilliant view of the sunset on the top balcony. Not social but very peaceful."

"Very dusty because of the main dirt road but the staff tried to keep it clean. Able to rent motorbikes and ATVs but a bit pricy compared the ones downtown. It’s a 30 minute walk to downtown, with a motorbike the bridge to cross is very sketchy (but it adds to the plot!)."

"Very steep stairs. I had heavy luggage. Difficulty getting to the third floor. It is out of town but was where I wanted to be. Said they accepted credit cards, but owners were out of town and the help didn't understand me, but to her credit called the owners for me. They asked me to go to town and get cash to pay for my room, as they were out of town and couldn't be there to run the credit card machine. I had pay with all the cash I had on me and was without cash for two days. The person managing the property while the owners were gone was amazing, even though we didn't speak each other's language."

"I recommend this place, the place is a little out of the way of town but it’s great ! The breakfast is delicious, options and a lot of fresh fruits. Every morning and evening you can watch the hot air ballons. You can rent a scooter down the road at Kiwi experience and eat really nice food on the few restaurant around the hotel. The hotel is on the way to view points and lagoons. The room is spacious, clean and comfy :) Only issue: the lady doesn’t speak much English but with google translate and hand talking it’s all good :)"

"Booked 3 nights at DD Guesthouse. Room was clean, hot shower, wifi. Breakfast included. A little bit ouf of town but that’s we wanted. I recommend"

"Great view in mountains from breakfast area (away from noisy bars) Friendly staff Cute street baby cat which we feeds she was so hungry. Hopefully the hotel will take care of her. Other guests did as well:-)"

"Next to paramotor station, they start to go up early (6.30) so we woke up that time every day… its still a place we would go back to but good to know that this is the alarm every morning:-)"
