"We really enjoyed our stay at Lion Hotel. We booked a junior suite and it was an excellent size, with plenty of space for luggage and relaxing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was large, equipped with a hair dryer, bath, and free toiletries. The hotel also helpfully stored our luggage while we took a side trip to Semey, which made things much easier for us. The location is convenient, close to a university with a handful of restaurants, cafés, takeaways, supermarkets, and even some parks nearby. Breakfast is included, and you can choose from a set menu — a nice touch to start the day. Overall, a very comfortable and practical place to stay, especially if you’re looking for spacious rooms and good amenities."
"The only downside is that it’s a little far from the main train station (Nur-Sultan Nurly Zhol, about 30 minutes by taxi) and also from the central sights like the Bayterek Tower area. If you’d prefer to be right by the main attractions, this may not be the most convenient spot. That said, Yandex taxis are very cheap and quick, and for us, the location worked well since we prefer to stay in areas with more green space."
