"Excellent host. Left something behind and she called me when I did not respond to the booking.com message."
"Location a bit remote"
"Everything about this place was great. The rooms were nicely designed, the kitchen was big, there were good bathrooms, and enough space inside the house. The combination of modern style with Japanese heritage was excellent."

"Modern amenities in an old house. A good way to showcase the design and layout of old houses. Wonderful stay here."
"Can be cold at night along the walkway from 1 end to the other as there is no heater. It is located in residential area so driving is slightly challenging. Needs to be creative with the way to park."
"Absolutely stunning Japanese home. Extremely welcoming as soon as you step in the door. Beautiful decor and plenty of room for a family of 4. Wishes we had booked more nights to stay."

"Japanische Ausstattung, sehr viel Platz, super Gastgeber.

Jan Js House
"The house was very clean and quiet, and the family was very kind and helpful during our stay. They shoveled snow off the driveway and offered to turn the heater on for us before we arrived. It was comfortable and enjoyable."

"Great location near beach and Okinoerabu Thalasso, a public heated saltwater pool. I came by ferry and was very grateful I was picked up and dropped off by a staff member. Without a car, I don’t know how else I could’ve managed it. The breakfasts were superb. Washers and dryers were available on premises for a reasonable fee. There are a couple restaurants on the property, check carefully for opening days and hours. There’s a well stocked drugstore/grocery a block away if you arrive on a day the restaurants aren’t open."
