"We came very late in the morning and Hamza was very kind to receive us and show us around. The room was a surprise - clean, very new with a perfect shower and a techie mirror - :) The location was near the Asian express terminal where we could find the exchange office and got a bus -" mashrutka" downtown. "Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

You need to be careful at the lower bunk - not much space between the bunks, everyone hits their head at least once.

"Handy to bus stops and restaurants and s great bake/bread shop in front. The security is super and the people running it really nice. I like that they have soft towels and a bath mat in each room. All the extra touches to make it homey. Also there is a great laundry mat right next door. I have stayed there several times.(lol at the hostel. Not the laundry mat)"

"It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice."

"The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained."

Wifi was very poor both in the living room and the private bedroom. I struggled connecting for work. I can't say that this was good value for money considering how far it was from Lugano city centre and all other activity spots. I didn't have breakfast, because it was another 20 francs on top of everything else and that wasn't really ideal for someone travelling on a budget.

Toilet room very cold in winter but you don't spend a long time in it anyway, lol. Mattress could be a bit better but nothing that prevented a good night's sleep.
