"Most peaceful stay one could find away from the main city but it’s heavenly beautiful neighbourhood with vineyards. Breakfast was elaborate. The in-house restaurant is good."

"Everything. The place is beautiful, super cozy, and very clean. You can really feel the love and attention to detail everywhere. The chill areas are great to relax, and the breakfast was more than decent. Amélie, the owner, is an amazing host – so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Her Auberge is truly a dream."

The only small downside was the location being a bit far from the central bus station, but that’s just a personal preference and didn’t affect the overall great experience.

No curtains on the bed. I also was charged twice for my stay here a long time after I left which was disappointing to see but I did get refunded.

Very basic. I had a room to myself, but if I had to share, it'd be very cramped. Power outlet wasn't near the beds.

"Fantastic location. I had a private room and bathroom. Fantastic. Quiet, helpful staff and a great location. Loved it. Super close to walking up the hill for a great view over the city and close to all key sites in the old city. Inexpensive and good value. I didn't eat breakfast there as there is a wonderful garden cafe 1 min walk in the same street which is lovely for good coffee and food."

Hot water was a little temperamental and loo leaked.

Although I accidentally chose the wrong room when I booked, she allowed me to change it (I wanted a female room) without hesitation. "הצוות מדהים. באמת עוזרים בכל מה שצריך, פשוט אנשים טובים. המיקום מצויין ויש כל מה שצריך במרחק הליכה או מקסימום אובר קצר. באחד הימים היינו צריכים מונית לשדה התעופה הרחוק (בערך 40 דקות נסיעה) והצוות דאג לנו למונית. בנוסף בהגעה הם מסבירים על איפה כל דבר נמצא והכל מסודר. אני גם ממש אהבתי את הפטיו למעלה."

ציפינו להכיר שם אנשים ולהתחבר קצת יותר אבל כולם היו סגורים בחדרים שלהם כל היום, אני חושב שיש שם קצת פחות תיירים, זה יותר הוסטל של מקומיים. אם זה לא משנה לכם זה באמת המקום הכי טוב בשבילכם.

There was no one there when I arrived and no one replied on WhatsApp. I stayed in the living room from 7am to 11am waiting for something to happen when I actually had messaged the owner days before to say I would arrive early and if I could do early check in. Fortunately the lady working there appeared and allowed me to take a bed before check in time around midday! Very kind !

"Ignore the previous negative comments. The whole place has been repainted and everything was amazing, especially the staff. The website is very useful, especially about transport from Cayenne to Georgetown or vice versa. Thank You 🙏"

My room had a really small window at 2 m hight so the room felt a bit claustrophobic. Also there was a construction site right next to the building which made quite some noise.
