Fridge in the kitchen was full of old products. Old furniture in the room.

אין מגבות ואין סבונים במקלחות, שזה משהו די סטנדרטי בהוסטלים מהניסיון שלי. עדיין זה זניח בהתאם לסוג המאוד ייחודי של ההוסטל (לא ראיתי עוד פודים מהסוג הזה במקומות אחרים).

"It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice."

Although I accidentally chose the wrong room when I booked, she allowed me to change it (I wanted a female room) without hesitation. "Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

"Everything’s was clean and staff was super friendly. I love that there is a sink and fridge in the room and slippers. they give you new towels everyday. Room is perfect for 1 person & to open 1 small 1 big suitcase. Unfortunately I couldn’t extend because it was fully booked."

"Typical hostel with own room and bathroom with shared kitchen space. Very clean and tidy and also a large lounge and terrace for relaxing. Staff very friendly and the location is excellent, just a 1 min. walk to the lovely Poe beach."

You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, and during the day enjoy a beautiful garden full of greenery and chirping birds. Breakfast is elegant and tasty, and the price is absolutely fantastic for Dakar – it is hard to ask for more at this level. For me, in Dakar: a well‑deserved 5 out of 5 stars."

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

First room I got was stucked away and there was a cockroach but they changed the room immediately for me

"The owner was very nice and the room was clean (we stayed in the hotel room with the barhroom). The kitchen was well equipped. It’s close to the boat taxi port, from where you can easily get tongue center."

The walls were thin and it was far from the center.
