"The hotel was exactly what I expected — nothing fancy, but perfectly fine. What really stood out was the staff: absolutely wonderful, from the manager who kindly arranged a late checkout because my flight was delayed, to the gardener who proudly showed me the different plants in the garden. Overall, a very pleasant stay thanks to the people."

"Staff extremely Kind & Loving Kitchen is Well organised & food was fresh and Well seasoned New rooms are spacious & have everything you need (Smart TV), nice bathroom with strong water pressure We Had all inclusive and really enjoyed the quiet area You can refill your water bottles with cold water the whole day The Most important & impressive about the Hotel is the Well organised staff who helps in all Situations and is very attentive. This feels very unique in comparison to Other Hotels in Gambia."

"This is the second year we have returned to this hotel. I can honestly say that I have never felt so welcomed, no wonder ppl come back every year! The chef's were outstanding and were ready to cater to dietary requirements. Food was fantastic, good selection which includes fresh salad,beans and local honey! Bar staff were amazing along with waitresses and waiters. Housekeeping go above and beyond! Gardeners and security along with reception team all work hard to ensure guests enjoy the holiday!!"

"The hotel and staff are extremely welcoming. The grounds are beautiful and well tended. The Aesthetics of the hotel are beautiful well propotioned and every where is easily accessible. We stayed in the new suites. Which were absolutley wonderful. The linen the furnishings and furniture were of a very high standard. The attention to detail and design were the best I have seen in gambia. We have stayed at most of the hotels in gambia over 30 years, and sunset is always our favourite, however it has just gotten better and exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel."

"The pool was freezing 🥶 The shower in the room, the height can not be adjusted, and therefore made everything wet in there, you get charged to change your beach towel,,,, The staff are the best, friendly, approachable and helpful, end of season therefore not much entertainment for the children. Great location. Once you leave the hotel for a nice quiet walk on the beach, be prepared to be hassled non stop...it gets overwhelming 🫨 Security on point, safe in room, no iron in room but can be requested, bring adapters albeit they have 1 UK standard plug socket. It can get extremely cold and windy by the sea of an evening, so bring something warm - a cardigan, lightweight jacket.. Would recommend it, would stay again, but only because the staff were so nice. Check the silver man. Great Jewellery, if that's your thing...... Food was good, but bring immodium ......"
