"we stayed there for 1 night when travelling from kazbegi, it is in walking distance from the castle and the lake beach. the rooms are very fancy and decorated. the breakfast is good, and more rich compared to other small hotels that serves breakfast that we visited."

"A nice, very large private home. It is almost like staying with a family. Not mentioned when I booked: The pretty fancy, large bathroom & WC is outside, next to the room. It is not often occupied, but not every guest will leave it behind in a perfectly clean condition. The nice family is quick doing their best, to be fair. This villa is maybe the very best hotel in this area. Great home cooked food at normal prices. I even got a free glass of wine. The son of the owners does a wonderful job maintaining the garden and he made a great personal effort to find me a bus to Gudauri. I am still thankful, and I hope he received my SMS."

"Very noisy highway next to the main building. Walking to Zhinvali Reservoir Lake [huge!] + Ananuri Fortress: Possible, but unpleasant and not very safe, along the highway. ~500+ m distance. The noisy highway and the separate, shared bathroom lowered my rating to 8. Otherwise I would have said ~9."

"Really a nice place in Ananuri. Nice garden with a pool. A good place to relax. Friendly hosts and a good evening meal (even when it takes a bit longer :-)). Big rooms and a nice house. The hosts speak Georgian and Russian, but there is always someone to help in translation. A good place to stay. The Ananuri castle is nearby and also the shore of the reservoir. A place to be recomnended."

"The Georgian Military Highway is nearby with heavy traffic. But it was ok and not too loud."

"I arrived at this place before check-in time, but the owner was so understandable and hospitable and invited me to join him at the table with delicious food and offered me a temporary room where I could rest for free before my check in. The location of this villa is very comfortable so you can explore Ananuri without any problems."
