"Fabulous lodge, stayed here for a week and had the most comfortable stay, rooms clean/quiet/comfortable and warm, with a great shower. Martin couldn’t do a better job of running the place and to top it off….the man can cook a breakfast!"

"Martin is absolutely lovely and went above and beyond to make sure both me and my dog were comfortable and looked after. A dog lover himself, without me asking, I was signposted to all the best spots to take my dog - and there are lots! A truly dog (and people) friendly stay. Martin went out of his way to accompdate my allergies and I loved having my yummy breakfasts facing the lush, plant plush courtyard. Also, has excellent taste in music! Couldn't recommend more highly."

"Martin was an excellent host very attentive to our needs. His breakfast was to a high standard with the sausages being particularly nice. The room was cosy and comfortable and extremely good value for money. Good car parking space."

"Breakfast was timed a little too early (06.30 - 7.45) but on this occasion sited us because we had a lot to do. However for those on more of a holiday stay might have been different."
