"We stayed here when temperatures were super hot! What was excellent were the very cool cave for parking and large and perfectly cool bedroom (if you keep the door closed during the day). The lounge was sunny in the afternoons. The large fridge had a good sized freezer drawer. There was a welcome outdoor seating spot in the shade and the pool was refreshing and private. The whole exterior space was been well designed for privacy. Bonus things: There was a hairdryer, iron, table-top ironing board, private washing machine in the house, 2 types of coffee machines, loads of cooking equipment and kitchen utensils, loads of cupboard storage and fab lounge dining room area. Beautifully detailed info brochure in English and French."
"It's a real shame that we didn't chose to stay here longer as it was so lovely and the hosts were generous and fun. Some French TV channels were a bit pixelated. As with all French hosted homes, bring toilet roll and fresh milk. But we didn't mind as, unlike many places, we didn't have to take our rubbish bins to the local town on the last day when our car was already full!"

"Very friendly hosts. Very quiet and peaceful. It was a good base from which to do day-trips to St Malo, Rennes, Cap Frehel, Dinan, Mt St Michel, Dol de Bretagne, etc. The small grocery store in Pleudihen is walkable; about 2km away."

"Nice and warm room. Bed was fine. Breakfast was exceptional, so many home made jams, different cheeses, breads etc. Far too much to do justice to the food. Easy to find and access with good parking in the grounds. Host was friendly."
"No problem finding property, hostess was waiting for us and showed us to our room. Everything as expected, bed was small but comfortable and everything was clean. Biscuits with variety of tea and coffee was a little extra. Breakfast was local and tasty."

"Excellent situation, very well and interestingly renovated house, clean, simply furnished bedrooms with views of mountains. Quiet and calm with little corners to sit in outside in the garden. A very welcoming, helpful and friendly host, Frederic also provides super meals and ensures everyone enjoys their time in Montsegur, - and benefits from the lovely ambiance of La Maison sous le Chateau."
