"The place is beautiful immersed in nature and close to the riverbank. It is a quiet and comfortable place. The host makes the extra .Ile to make one feel the best possible. Breakfast is super. Home made jams, hot croissants, fruits and yogurt."

"The staff is absolutely amazing, so caring and lovely. Manu helps you with everything and we had the most wonderful conversations in a mix of French Deutsch and Dutch. What a wonderful person with plenty of tips. For example the pizza place down the street One Pizz' Pineuilh, phenomenal pizza"

"Manu is a wonderful host. He is warm, friendly and welcoming. And a bit quirky in a good way. The house is great and the room spacious and clean. The bathroom looked quite new and was also very spacious. Manu spoke a little bit of English and also a bit German, together with our limited French, we had great conversations."
"Breakfast was good, with yummy pancakes and local honey, but I missed a fresh baguette and some savoury choices. Sainte-Foy-La-Grande isn't the most inviting of towns in late September. It looked a bit depressing and there was limited choice of restaurants. It was either takeaway pizza or oriental semi-takeaway (with very nice owners by the way)."

"La proximité de l'hôtel proche de la gare de Valenciennes (7 minutes à pied). Je n'ai pu apprécier le restaurant qui m'avait l'air de présenter une carte succulente car je n'étais que de passage mais j'ai pris un bon p'tit déj. Malgré un bug de réservation de Booking pour lequel j'ai trouvé l'hôtel fermé le dimanche, David, le boss s'est déplacé le soir tard pour m'accueillir et me donner une chambre. Très professionnel et réactif. Son personnel est à son image, très attentionné. Je recommande cet établissement calme et propre."

"Good old accomodation that is clean, well located and very friendly staff. Room is small but comfortable with good shower. Air conditioning is a portable and didn’t seem to work so we turned off and opened large windows. Great lunch and good coffee."

"Good location, easy to explore the local langedoc area but car would be essential. The host Emma was friendly, helpful and easily contactable, coming quickly to help us with internet connection and replacing the gas when it ran out. There were nice touches like a sweet welcome basket including wine from their own vineyard and shampoo / conditioner etc in the bathrooms. The property was spacious, homely and clean with a very well equipped kitchen. The air con throughout was very welcome in the hot weather. Views were idyllic and it felt like a real getaway. The spa looked beautiful, we just didn’t use it as we had young children and it was too hot to be in a sauna!"

"I had one day at Mas Llagunas on my own, and was then joined by my friends (we are members of a choir). The welcome we were given by Eric and his staff was exceptionally warm, the location is stunning, and the food was excellent. (They also tolerated us being quite noisy at times!!) The room was very plain and simple, but very clean."
