"The staff is really nice, Leela is wonderful and kind. She has been incredibly nice during our stay, helpful. A beautiful person. The restaurant is really good, amazing galettes! Breakfast is complete, fresh, natural. Great! It's wonderful to be able to see the stars there and hearing the river nearby."

"Wonderful hosts. Very comfortable, clean large room. Excellent breakfast. Dinners at on-site restaurant were delicious. 5 minutes to Foix centre. Close to fantastic Niaux caves. Excellent base for day trips for surrounding towns and Pyrenees."

"It was quite easy to find - there is a sign on the street. The last house away from D17. We had booked their biggest room - and everything was perfect. Had a nice talk with our host - a very quite place away from traffic"

"In a stunning valley near Foix This is a very good place ,The rooms are stylish and comfortable ,The Dinner served on a leafey trerrace accompanied with local beer and wine was outstanding. The husband and wife who own and run the place were so helpful and friendly. A credit to the hospitality industry. Well done."

"Everything good that was said before about La Greande Mare, is sbsolutely true. The host was most friendly and accommodating. The accommodation was well laid out, superbly and tastefully furnished. An absolute pleasure to stay. Breakfast was ample, tasty and served in an equally beautiful breakfast room with a view onto a beautiful pool area. Really worth a revisit. Also, a special word of thanks and appreciation to Madame Claude Gilbert for her help in sourcing a garage when we encountered the loss of a car tire. "Lovely host—very easygoing and helpful, even with our late-night arrival. The house is beautiful and surrounded by nature. Everything is easy to use, and it has a personalized, welcoming vibe. The terrace outside is a big plus, as well as the convenient parking right in front. There are bikes available for free, and we even received a bottle of wine as a welcome gift!"
