"Lovely quiet location with all we needed. Excellent base for our trips to the Somme and airshow."

"Gorgeous location in a quiet little French village. We were retracing family involvement in WW1/battlefield history so this was the perfect place to stay for doing our own battlefield walking tours. Although owner didn't speak English we managed to communicate. No shops in the village so supplies must be obtained in nearby Albert which is easy if you have your own vehicle. Highly recommend Le Tommy and Le Poppy restaurants in nearby villages. Loved our time here!!"

"It is very modest house, but it has everything what you need, and the price is very reasonable. Everything was working, it was warm. Refrigerator, coffee, tea, microwave, oven, dishes, etc everything is there. We took our bikes and did a nice bike tour . This place is strongly recommended for people wo are interested in the WW1 history. Supermarket is approx. 10 km away. You need a car!"

"Very pleasant owner got the day mixed up so the place wasn't ready on my arrival - she was suitably "desole" and scurried around getting stuff ready. I guess these things happen, but it could have been very awkward! Outside is a bit of building site - don't let that put you off - the accommodation itself is fine."

"Very good location - only 10 minutes away from Thiepval museum and monument and 15 minute drive to Albert. Very quiet location in peaceful village -great walking the dog. Friendly welcoming host. All the facilities you needed."
"Access to the property itself could be difficult for those with limited mobility consisting of several large stones onto a raised concrete platform covered in AstroTurf-would be better with a ramp or steps with a handrail. Wifi log information needs to be on display in the gite."
"No meals included (which is what we wanted) but a full set of kitchen equipment and utensils. Comfortable beds and a very friendly host. I would have no hesitation in staying here again for a journey in the Somme area. This is a beautiful village approximately 2 miles from the Thiepval memorial and cemetery."

"An apartment within a hotel complex that has practically everything you need for your vacation – a small kitchen, a sofa bed, an improvised bedroom with two beds, etc. – but the best part is definitely the location. Parking is not a problem either, as there’s a large parking garage nearby."
