"Accueil très agréable et chaleureux. Malgré la chaleur, la chambre est fraîche, on y a passé une nuit très agréable, l'absence de clim ne s'est pas fait sentir. La literie est très confortable. Un petit déjeuner copieu et délicieux nous attendait à l'heure que nous avions choisie. L'endroit est très calme, en pleine campagne, nous avons profité de la terrasse pour dîner (on a été cherché une pizza d'une pizzaiola de Chaveignes...Un délice)... Encore merci pour l'accueil"

"Le cadre était magnifique. Les propriétaires très accueillants. La chambre parfaite et très propre. Une salle intérieure est disponible pour manger, prendre un café ou autre avec un frigo à notre disposition. A l'extérieur des tables avec des parasols également. Le petit-déjeuner était copieux avec des produits frais et variés. Aucun bruit la nuit, malgré d'autres locataires. Nous mettons une note de 20/20, voire plus.... nous recommandons vivement."

"Le calme absolu et le confort de ce petit lieu perdu à 3 kilomètres de RICHELIEU et proche de CHINON. La propreté des chambres, la qualité du petit déjeuner, la gentillesse et la simplicité de l'accueil. Le rapport qualité prix."

"Cet appartement mérite une vraie rénovation.. Propre superficiellement mais ne pas regarder en détail.... Four et plats non exploitable. Ballon d eau chaude de 100 litres trop juste.... Pas de vrai douche et rien pour poser le pommeau au dessus de la baignoire... Attention à la consommation d électricité e plus du loyer Appartement en réalité de 42 M2 (terrasse rajoutée dans la superficie....) Rapport qualité prix execif....."

"Fabulous house on a quiet street, with parking, but only 5 minutes walk to the centre of town. The house was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need,very much a home from home. Balcony and sheltered private courtyard to sit out on. Our host Beatrice was very kind and helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay memorable. Bergerac is a beautiful town with lots of historical interest and numerous places to eat. Would recommend a car to explore the surrounding areas as public transport limited. Would highly recommend"

"This was one of the nicest places we've ever been on holiday, the sleeping room was a very nice temperature and pleasant to stay in (outside it was 34 °c), it was close to the shops and on walking distance to the river for a nice swim. Many thanks to the hostess Florence who made our stay even better with the nice breakfasts, good advice on activities and for having such lovely cats. :)"

"Perfectly located - rural feel yet only 15 minutes away from Chinon and other local towns. Michel was a welcoming and generous host. The house was well equiped and with all the cooking facilities you would wish for. The extensive garden and far reaching views were exceptional."

"Charles is an excellent host with refined taste and an appreciation of traditional French style. The house is magnificent and is furnished and decorated with beautiful use of colour and texture and the antique furniture and paintings are delightful. Beautiful spacious and characterful bedroom and bathroom. My stay felt like being a guest at an eighteenth century house party and Charles' relaxed and friendly manner was wonderful. I was looking for a genuinely French experience rather than an impersonal hotel and both Charles and the lovely French couple who were also staying were happy to encourage my French speaking. A truly memorable experience and I hope to return. Thanks for a great stay Charles."
