"Die Lage ist absolut grandios. Am Abend mit einem Glas Wein auf dem Balkon zu sitzen und über den Kanal zu gucken, ach! So toll! Selbst beim Duschen hat man mit einem diskreten Fensterchen auf Nasenhöhe einen inspirierenden Blick über den Hafen. Die riesigen Terassentüren auf beiden Etagen machen die Räume hell und luftig."

"This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. It is set in a beautiful garden with lots of shade and places to sit quietly. The house is wonderfully cool ( we were there in a heat wave) and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need to self cater. The pool was excellent and again, lots of places to sit under cover from the sun. Our hosts were so welcoming from the very start and sorted out a minor problem very quickly. The house is beautifully furnished and the bed is so comfortable! Location is excellent - shops and services close by in the town and near to lots of places to visit. It also has a very friendly cat whom we loved! We highly recommend this lovely home - peaceful, welcoming and comfortable."

"Das renovierte Fachwerkhaus ist sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Hierzu trägt auch der Kaminofen sowie die Sauna bei. Die Ausstattung ist super. Wir haben für unsere Kleinkinder sehr viel Spielzeug, ein Reisebett sowie einen Kinderstuhl zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen. Auch den großen Garten darf man mitbenutzen. Hier haben wir die Ziegen besucht und gefüttert und mit den Kindern Ball gespielt."

"We were a group of nine people for two days. We had all we needed in this nice house. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. The host welcomed us with cake and wine, and was really very nice. I can highly recommend the place, and it is very nicely located with amazing nature and villages around. Lescun just up the hill is a gem."

Can tell that it's been restored with loving hands and attention to detail. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Made our holiday perfect"

"We enjoyed all of our stay from the moment the proprietor greeted us and showed us around until we had to leave. Parking and easy access although finding the actual house was a little problematic - a clear sign at the start of the track by the tarmac road might help. The room was very well equipped and extremely comfortable and clean. There was a lovely large shower and copious amounts of hot water. The room had both tea and coffee facilities and delicious dark chocolate treats. There was a balcony with chairs, etc accessed from the landing outside the room. Our breakfast was excellent: croissant, bread, butter, yoghurt, milk, fruity granola, seeds, nuts, cold meats, local cheeses, fruit, tea/coffee, etc."
