Christine is an great host. She takes such loving care of her guests and is always attentive and genuinely committed to making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. "The finest stay in a traditional building surrounded by vineyards. Mr Elizbar's warm character made for a truly wonderful time. I enjoyed traditional house made georgian wines. Especially clay pot wines were so good!"

"The host was very friendly and made tons of arrangements for us. He picked us up from the train station, drove us to the grand canyon, and also drove us to the caves. He made a delicious Chinese breakfast that was included and we also paid extra to eat dinner there as well. The hotel is nice and quiet and pretty close to the Grand Canyon - though you will probably still need to drive there."

The room was a little cold in the winter.

"Cute place with lots of quirky garden ornaments everywhere. Our little house was everything we needed. No English spoken which was fun. Breakfast was very filling. You definitely need a car to get about, which was fine for us as we are on a road trip."

There is no place to get fresh tea or coffee at the accommodation or in the village unless you bring your own. A very small inconvenience because there is a great restaurant next to the monastery a few minutes drive away.

A bit difficult to find, the fridge didn't work.
