This hostel is located in central Cairo, just 200 metres from the famous Talat Harb Square. It offers spacious and air-conditioned rooms, a small guest kitchen and a 24-hour reception. All simply furnished rooms at The Freedom Hostel come with a balcony and heating. Some room have a private bathroom, while other have shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. Continental breakfast is served in the morning. Several Egyptian and International restaurants, cinemas and shopping malls are located nearby. Tea, coffee and shisha cafés are located just metres away. Convenient guests services include laundry facilities and free luggage storage. It is possible to book tours at the hostel’s travel desk, which also has an internet corner to keep in touch with family and friends.

"Very clean, perfectly located hostel with super kind staff. Unbeatable value for money. Don't confuse it with another hotel in the same building. Freedom Hostel is on the top floor to the right."

"It is right in downtown. Walkable. Had single beds in dorm which i liked along with a side table with lock. Had hanging areas in room behind door and clothes drying from window. Clean and spacious bathrooms. Have a communal fridge. Staff friendly and helpful in booking tours and guidance. Very filling breakfast. I would take along bread and cheese and jam as takeaway sandwiches for later. They have beans, pickled veges, boiled egg, cheese, jam, bread and fried falafel for breakfast."
"It is a lot of stairs to reach with luggage. Its 4 flights of stairs i think. The communal area has old furniture."

"Kindness, hospitality and professionalism of all employees, Eslam especially, but also nice Ahmed and all female personel we had interaction with. Hostel is clean, very pleasant, settled in beautiful, old, but neat and well kept building, not necessary to say super centrally located. Breakfast is full and super tasty...without exaggerating, all experience with Freedom Hostel was just right, we both just loved our stay here. When I return to Cairo, I won't search for new place to stay, I have found it."

"זו שנה שנייה שלנו בפאלאק: פאלאק מתאים לאוהבי 'הארד קור' סיני- החושות על הים פשוטות ונעימות כמו סיני של פעם. יש בפאלאק שקט קסום ואווירת חופש והתנתקות ובפעמיים שהיינו הגיעו למקום זוגות או משפחות עם ילדים יחסית גדולים כך שמי שמחפש שקט מופתי- זה המקום. ארוחת הבוקר בכללי בסיני די צנועה... הוספנו כל בוקר סלט יווני מעולה וזה סגר פינה. אחמד ואישתו אנשים אדיבים ומקסימים ועושים ככול יכולתם כדי לייצר שהות נעימה. על אף שבפאלאק אין מאווררים בחושה, לא הרגשנו שחם למעט ערב אחד (היינו בתחילת אוקטובר) ויש בריזה נעימה מהים. יש שיפור משמעותי באוכל משנה שעברה והכל היה ממש אחלה!"

"מקום נקי מאוד, מאיר פנים, האוכל מעולה, בישול ביתי מגוון, ממש חוויה קולינרית. אמא באסנט מבשלת באהבה ומגישה ברוחב לב, אחמד בעלה דואג שלא יחסר דבר. אנחנו באנו לחפש שקט ומנוחה והחוויה היתה מעל המצופה! באסנט ואחמד מקפידים על הפרטים הקטנים, תמיד היה מאוד נקי ומסודר בכל פינה וזה עושה את ההבדל! אירוח פשוט כמו פעם! חיכינו כל יום לגלות מה תכין לנו באסנט הפעם לאכול, וכל פעם הופתענו לטובה, ממש חוויה קולינרית. עוד נחזור למצוא מפלט מנטאלי בחיקם!"
