"The adjoining accommodation - walls too thin and we could hear people talking & showering etc The road at back of complex noisy with scooters & cars tooting. There was no greeting or final check out do felt a bit ignored."

"Great location on a quiet sandy beach. A short walk away from restaurants and bars. Day trip by boat to Isla la Plata to snorkel and to see the Blue footed Boobies on their nests. Breakfasts were delicious had 3 choices! Staff made you feel at home."

"The staff was wonderful! We were traveling with a small dog. We had to leave him while whle watching and let them know. They had someone walk the dog and make sure it had food and water. our dog has seperation anxiety and started barking. The staff took him to the lobby to keep him company and all of them played with him while keeping other guest from being annoyed."

"The problem with sound wasn't the hotel's problem. The neighborhood dogs barked well into the late night."

"The only thing was if the window was open, water from heavy rain came in. The fan on the ceiling seemed risky as it wasn't a typical ceiling fan. AC here would be awesome. I understand why there isn't any."

"We have a lovely stay at Hostería Mándala. The rooms were peaceful and clean and looked out on the lovely garden. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful to any questions we had. Breakfast was excellent and filling with great choices. Thank you so much!"

"Beautiful hosteria, lovingly designed down to the last detail, under Swiss-Italian management. There is a beautiful beach across the street. It is a 5-minute walk to the center of Puerto Lopez. There is an excellent café restaurant nearby. In a fairytale garden there are several houses in the local style with different room sizes and number of beds. Each room has its own sheltered outdoor area with armchairs and hammocks. The continental breakfast is very tasty. The motorcycles are protected under a roof in the courtyard. They can help you to arrange tours. Absolutely recommend able."

"this is really amazing place in Ecuador. Maybe the best hotel we visited during of our trip ... really very nice garden, bungalovs .. everything was so comfortable and we spend there 3 nights. I have to reccomend this hotel and - ocean and beach in front of the hotel - no big vawes, you can swim there without no problem and hotel lends beach equipment for free. Tasty and big breakfast, excellent jams!!! This place is = MUST BE!!!"
