"We had a totally lovely stay. The house is right on the beach, just a few steps away from a refreshing morning dip in the sea. All cooking facilities are available and easy to use. As we were the only guests, we had the entire house to ourselves, including all the hammocks and the many little benches and seating spots around the property. These made it perfect to enjoy the view, the silence, the sun, and the unique energy of the place. Everything is within walking distance, as it is a small island, so you can simply relax and enjoy the views, the vibes, and the incredible wildlife, turtles, sea lions, and so much more, all right at your doorstep. Thank you, Ingrid, for making our stay so pleasant. You are an amazing host, always available when needed, but never intrusive. We could not have asked for more.."

"We had a lovely room and lashes if hot water which after days at hotels where caliente meant lukewarm was absolutely brilliant. The hotel is far away from anything that would cause too much noise so we had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was OK. The parking worked fine."

"The suite is well appointed and in an excellent location. There are a lot of restaurants cafes and bars within a few minutes walk. The building has 24 hour security and the security officers were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. I very much enjoyed my stay here. It's also excellent value."

"Arriving at the property involves driving onto the beach (or getting a taxi), which was both daunting and surreal at first, but quickly became one of my favourite things about it. We had an SUV (not 4x4) and had no problems - the sand is really hard and easy to drive on. The owner was extremely communicative and helpful over WhatsApp, and made us feel very welcome during our stay. He's an excellent chef, and we ate at the hotel every day to make the most of his incredible cooking. The property itself is on it's own stretch of a fairly deserted beach (which becomes inaccessible during high tide) and both the views and isolation are beautiful. We went for walks and swam during the day and drifted off to peaceful sound of the waves and wind at night."

"The location was excellent, right on the edge of town, but you felt like you were a world away in the private garden space. Julia and Franklin were superb hosts. Julia happened to be by the property and alerted us to a toucan that was on it! The hummingbird feeder is a constant National Geographic level spectacle. We used Julia's bird guide services and saw so many birds! 14 types of hummingbirds, two different species of toucan (different from the one we saw on the property) and dozens of other species. There is a small brook on the property that adds to the ambiance. One of our favorite stays ever and we look forward to going back again and again!"
