"Beautiful setting amongst lush vegetation. Fantastic rooms and bungalows with a wooden construction and lovingly updated for tourism. Lovely place to relax and unwind. Quiet location, but either a 10-15minute walk to Chethy beach, which is huge and deserted or a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride to Marari beach where there are more snack shacks and facilities."

Would have liked a kettle to make tea/coffee and a fridge, but don’t let that minor detail put you off…it’s beautiful.

I would highly recommend staying here and going on tour with Hamza and Camel and all the locals there. They are such amazing, generous, and thoughtful people"

"The accommodation was very nice. My moto-friend and myself used the fridge to store some food, locally bought in the supermarket. There as no front/backyard to park motorbikes. We however parked in front of the house. We felt confident to park them outside. Nice Mountain view from the balcony."

"There was nothing to really "like" - nothing standing out - IMHO room facilities, decoration, bathroom and bedding where merely acceptable."

The owner's agony on low power consumption is obvious. 1) the fuse controling TV & AirConditioner was off - had to do a bit of troubleshooting in order to get the TV operational 2) lighting in the room extremely low 3) stove required ~45 minutes to prepare one cup of coffee. The road to get to the property is suitable for one way traffic. If you crossed with another vehicle one of the two would have to reverse. Pet friendliness was limited to the owner's pets and was not extended to the guests' pets. The owner resented the fact that I traveled with my pet noticing that I should have informed up-front.

Everything has been thought of by the host: iron and board; kettle, cups, bowls, plates, coffee, sugar, creamer; towel rack and prayer mat; hangers in the wardrobe. The shower is marvellous: various shower heads and taps; good shower gel, shampoo and toothpaste provided, shelves for bottles and a rack for hanging towels etc. The basin and mirror are good for shaving."

There was a smell from the drain, but this can be reduced leaving the bathroom fan on. The call to prayer is very close by. The window coverings are pretty, but it would be nice to look out of the front window. The blinds should be enough.

"Everything was excellent, good stuff. Clean and comfortable room. The room had air conditioning and a balcony with a nice view. If you want to relax in a quiet place with good nature, with good housewives, I recommend this house. I think next year I will definitely come again."

"Nice family :) Aku speaks english very well and she could explain a lot of things about Kirguis life. She also prepared a delicious plov for us. I keep a very nice feeling from this accommodation, really special connection. I would maintain the contact with Aku for sure!!!"

Everything was good.

"Peaceful riverside haven with a shaded terrace and deck opposite the cliffside Lycian tombs, which are lit up at night. The perfect place to relax. Close to shops, restaurants, cafes, bars etc. Our obliging host arranged a trip down stream to the beach on the public boat, which picked us up at our landing. On site parking a bonus."

"Location for us was wonderful. Nice views, quiet village, close to a few beautiful hikes. Spacious apartment with a kitchen that had everything you needed (no oven, no foods like salt/sugar/butter/tea/coffee, so bring your own) and a large balcony. Kind host with sweet dog."

For us, it was perfect.
