"בעלי הנכס מקסימים, מאוד מסייעים בכל עניין. יש אפשרות לקבל ארוחות במקום, הארוחות טובות ומתשלמות. החדר מאוד בסיסי, בחדר המקלחת לא היתה דלת אלא שירותים. בחדר לא היו אמצעי חימום, אך במיטות היום סדינים חשמליים כך שהשינה היתה נעימה. המיקום של הנכס מעולה, ומאוד נגיש במוניות ותחבורה ציבורית"

"It is a fantastic place with very friendly people. They welcomed us at the train station and were helpfull at every moment of the day. Breakfast was very good as well. I would recommend this place."

"What a beautiful little place, so full of character! The lovely family who own/run this place and live on site are the most accommodating and friendly. So centrally located, has everything you need - heater, electric blanket, hot water, tea and coffee always boiling on the fire downstairs. Food was yummy too - try the barley porridge!! No complaints at all, thanks guys :) oh and cute cats too"

"Clean, comfortable, and affordable rooms in a family home with character. Tenzin and his family are wonderful hosts - helpful, kind, curious, and accommodating. The hostel is centrally located in the heart of downtown Shangri-La and it is easy to get around, be it on foot, by bus, or by car."

"We had a tiny bit of trouble with the heating in our room (the electric blanket didn't work, and one of the electrical sockets was faulty so the heating unit turned off in the middle of the night). However, the comforter was thick and warm, and there was no problem a nice hot shower couldn't fix!"

"Warm friendly welcome, couldn't have been more helpful. Superb local knowledge and assistance with planning and booking our independent trek to Tiger Leaping Gorge. Good food available at all times and fantastic ginger tea.! Excellent location and help with transport. Thank you Daniel and family!"

"Well equiped comfortable room. The air-heater is very silent, good for sleeping. Super comfortable bed. Friendly English speaking staff Great location in the old town & still accessible for taxis."

"Because of the carpet the air in the room was quite dusty (which my allergy did not like) The windows are beautiful, but the could use some cleaing. The room is never completely dark."

"Unique place to stay, could feel the more Tibetan atmosphere then Chinese one from the interior in cafe/dining room and sleeping room. Friendly 3 guys, seems to be owners or perhaps the Yi's brothers. Room was OK, thick blanket provided for the colder weather in Shangrila compared to Lijiang, location was also perfect for exploration the old town."

"During check in and walking into room was told heater could be provided in case needed, but my bad was after exploring the old town and coming back in the evening, i went to directly into the room, found it much colder now compared when i checked in, tug in and only later at 6 morning the next day going down to check the breakfast downstairs, i realized a heater is provided near my room entrance, i must have missed it on my way back in the evening. Perhaps heater could be directly provided upon check in to the room, so no poor soul would have to gone though my experience and did same mistake as mine. Overall, still a great stay at this place for exploring Shangrila."
