Located in Chiloe, Refugio Pallao offers accommodation 15 km from Castro. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast with local products. Refugio Pullao offers for an extra fee, several excursions to the surrounding areas including horse-back riding and bird-watching tours. "Las habitaciones son muy cómodas, con una vista espectacular. Tienen miradores hacia el mar, donde hay una zona de avistamiento de aves. El personal también es muy amable, y conocen mucho la zona, el proyecto y están dispuestos a orientarte y entregar información que mejora la estadía en el refugio. Además, son solo 6 habitaciones, por lo que anda poca gente (menos ruido y más tranquilidad)."
