Completely renovated in 2016, Hotel Morgana is located in a quiet area of Mendrisio easily reached from the Mendrisio exit of the A2 Lugano-Chiasso motorway, 9 km from the Italian border and 3 km from Lake Lugano. All rooms have a minibar, air conditioning, TV, safe and free WiFi. You can enjoy a glass of local wine at the on-site bar or on the terrace with palm trees. "What I didn’t like about Hotel Morgana was that the check-in time is at 4 p.m., which feels quite late, and the check-out time is at 10:30 a.m., which feels a bit early. Additionally, the beds consist of two separate mattresses pushed together, and this often causes discomfort and back pain for couples."
"Everything is perfect, this has become my go-to hotel when I come to Mendrisio for work. Great staff, excellent value for money, and a really good breakfast. I’ve tried all the hotels here in Mendrisio, and none are as good unless you move up to 4 stars. Highly recommended! To those complaining about the breakfast, I’d really like to see what they eat at home, because I can assure you the breakfast here is varied and plentiful. Warm greetings and a big hug to all the wonderful staff!"
