The family-run Hotel Grimsel enjoys a quiet location in the village of Obergesteln in the Obergoms municipality, just 300 metres from the Train Station, between the Alpine passes of Furka, Grimsel and Nufenen. "We had two nights here whilst touring on our motorbike and booked a bigger room with balcony. Staff were friendly and helpful, plenty of parking and a nice restaurant and bar area. Our room was fantastic! Very spacious with a big shower and a sofa area with the added bonus of a wrap around balcony. The food was very good offering traditional dishes along with a whole Thai menu was was delicious."
