"Hosts were friendly and responsive. The house, being older was surprisingly well maintained and lovingly cared for. The hosts were genuinely concerned about our comfort and responded to every need promptly. For those not wanting a sterile hotel room and a place that feels more like home, this place is worth considering. There's a playground for younger children and lots of space to take a walk. It's only ~3 Kms from the Cavendish amenities which is where we spent most of our time."

"The driveway is a little tricky to find and the bushes are up to the edge of it and the main road. Normally wouldn't be a concern but seeing traffic can be a bit of a challenge, as is turning in if one isn't looking. Fortunately there are reflectors at the end of the drive so that helped at night."

"The bedrooms were a touch on the small side for two couples but the rest of the accommodation was fine."

"Mavis was such a welcoming, helpful host, she made us feel right at home. The cottage is very close to beaches and local attractions. Both the stove and fridge allow for easy cooking. The bed is comfortable beyond measure and the shower has great pressure and hot water."
