"Beautiful place! The rooms were nice a warm and I wasn't cold at all at night with the tgick duvet they give you. The shower is solar run and it's nice and hot! The views of the mountains are amazing and the food cooked by Theadora is delicious!"

We stayed in for dinner and it was better than what you can expect up the hill, breakfast was also very generous for Bolivian styles. Couldn’t recommend enough. Also what booking.com says is the price is the price, they don’t price hike like many other near by ( there’s service at the property where most are out of range) + WiFi"

"Very friendly family that owns the ecolodge, the location and view from terrace are outstanding. Good food in the evening, basic breakfast. We especially enjoyed the bed which was extremely comfortable and the quiet (the first time in Peru + Bolivia we were able to sleep without earplugs). Definitely recommend!"

"Only confusing thing is there are 2 restaurants as apparently there’s 2 separate hotels on the same grounds - worth checking which restaurant you’re supposed to be eating at before you head over for dinner"

"Our stay at Campo Santo couldn't have been better!! The owners are always there and ready to help you with anything you need. The views from the garden are amazing, we recommend you taking your breakfast outside hehehe. The room was veery spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We didn't feel cold once and the blanket was very light, warm and comfy. Not your usual 40 cm stacks that weigh more than a llama that we were used to in Bolivia. The water was very hot aswell! On top of everything the food they offer is amazing!"

"Cannot complain about anything"

"This is my favorite place i've stayed in overall, I think (though the stay on isla de la luna is a close second). I planned to stay 1 night and ended up staying 3 (wanted a 4th but he didnt have room). Theres a fantastic view of the mountains, the room is large, well decorated and has a nice tall ceiling, the washroom is super premium feeling (and great hot water!). The dinner at the lodge was also very good - I had the trout and quinua soup, and they were as good as the best restaurants at the top of the Yumani town. There is a 10-15min walk to the town, but it is not a steep uphill and is shaded for part of the way. While its not a hostel, I had a few nice conversations with other residents at the dinner in the Lodge. So I recommend staying for the dinner, as otherwise (as a solo traveller) the island can be a bit lonely I will note that I got a good price - 15$ on booking.com, and then extended informally at the same price. I paid in USD, not BOB."

"The wifi was good when it worked, but it would stop working for a bit - e.g. 6pm to ~9pm the first night it was completely non functional. With my sim, I had no signal there either (switching to an Airalo esim got me a tiny bit of signal, I think Entel sims are better). I was able to do work on the computer in the mornings, and then usually went up to Yumani to work from a restaurant till evening. Sunset wise, it is very beautiful but you might see an even nicer one on the other side of the island."
