It was a bit cold in the room even with the radiators turned all the way up, luckily there were two blankets so I still got a great night sleep!

"My second time staying at the wonderful St. James Guesthouse. Returned back after 3 years, and it was even more wonderful than what I remembered. The owner along with all of the employees are absolutely lovely. You truly feel at home with a lovely family like atmosphere. The rooms are authentic and have exactly what you need. Enjoyed having Netflix on the TV along with Aircondition in the room. Breakfast was delicious with great additional options you pay a cheap price for. Location is the best in Roseau, next to a car rental, walkable distance to everything (Ferry terminal, Markets, Restaurants/bars, Local busses to Portsmouth or Trafalgar). Cannot recommend this place and the employees enough. One of the many gems in Dominica! Thanks to the team once again 🙏"

"Steve & Geri are terrific hosts, and the kind of people you want to meet when you’re travelling. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and fun to talk to. The B&B location is both convenient for arrivals, and well-placed for a walk along the southern coast beaches. The decor of the room is also well-suited to provide character. Enjoyed the breakfast."

(רולר למסאז', חלון עליון חשמלי, חימום - יש גם רדיאטורים וגם מזגן. ועוד) יש חדר נפרד לבישול (ולכן בתמונות לא רואים כיריים וכד') - לא השתמשנו, כי הפיתוי לחוות את האירוח המיוחד של אנשי המקום המקסימים היה גדול יותר. רוז מקסימה, נמרצת, עזרה במהירות בכל מה שביקשנו. מומלץ!"

"The way they treated me is out of my expectations. They understood my situation of flights cancellation, modification and of course my financial changes. Their is nothing i can assume to be bad. Everything was above my expectations. Everyone should try it at least. No one will say that they found something bad on this hotel.

"Location is ok, 10 minutes walk to Somerset MRT station. Cleanness was ok, not spotted but acceptable. Air conditioning worked well. As the cheapest private room with private bathroom in the whole city this place is worth its price. Good contact with owner via whatsapp. I would come back."

The owner does not treat this place like a hotel, so for example, toilet paper is replaced by the guests themselves.

"ג׳ולייט בעלת המקום אישה מדהימה!!! מדהימה!!! מדהימה!! פעם רגשונה שאנחנו מתארחות בצורה כזו במהלך החמישה חודשים שלנו בטיול ובאופן כללי. קודם כל קבלת פנים כל כך חמה ונחמדה אישה חייכנית ונחמדה ברמות!! יש חדר גדול מיטה ענקית עם שירותים ומקלחת והכל נקי ברמות. ריח טוב. ג׳ולייט בן אדם מקסים מקסים!!!!! באמת זכות ענקית שלנו להכיר אותה!!! כל ערב היינו יושבות והיא הייתה שואלת אותנו איך עבר היום והיינו מספרות לה ממש כמו אמא. מקום מומלץ היא החלק הגדול בחוויה שלנו בטרזר ביץ"

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

"The location is beautifully landscaped, with lots of trees and flowers that brought in a variety of wildlife to view! We saw several beautiful birds and cute lizards. Tanja and Leo were extremely kind, welcoming, and accommodating! They provide a binder with plenty of information about the beaches, wildlife, and restaurants. We loved meeting the cats and dogs on the grounds! They were so cute and friendly. Renting a vehicle was easy and allowed us to visit nearby beaches with ease. The outdoor shower was refreshing and beautiful."

There is no air-conditioning, so it could get hot, but it was managable enough. There is a ceiling fan, and if the bathroom door is open, it allows for a lovely breeze. The net for mosquitos is helpful, but we found we needed to supplement with additional bug spray and a citronella candle. All in all, it was not too bad, and it was definitely managable!

Thin walls. There were noises from other people in the corridor/bathrooms/doors. The room could use a little decoration for cozier feeling.

Entrance is hard to find, I first thought I was in the wrong place.

"A late evening arrival at the airport so I wanted somewhere close to get much-needed sleep before joining an organised group the next day. This was perfect, and Emilie a great host who picked me up from the airport (for a small fee)."

"It's a beautiful hotel 10 out of 10. So comfortable and pretty. Very clean and you can have a beautiful view of the Nile. I absolutely recommend this place. "We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.
