"Easy location, superb terrace to laze around, easy going, nice staff"

some rooms dont have window and that really does not work for me. They were very acvommodating and let us pick another room.

"מיקום מעולה, מרחק הליכה קצר ממרכז ת'ת, והתחלת מסלול תת - וולבונה. חדר נעים, נקי, עם נוף. ארוחת בוקר נהדרת ומגוונת (עם מלא ירקות). ארנבונים חמודים מתרוצצים על הדשא. מקום משפחתי, עם יחס אישי. תודה לג'ון על היחס החברותי והאישי. היה לנו כייף לדבר איתך! המסעדה של בית ההארחה מעולה, אכלנו שם 2 ארוחות ערב."

"Quiet peaceful cottage in the heart of the city - well connected by metro and bus routes and easily reachable by cab or auto. The staff was welcoming and friendly. I was traveling solo on a leisure visit and I felt very comfortable and safe throughout. They have a good breakfast spread. The property is very green and cosy."

"Great accommodation in “middle of nowhere”. Quiet place with superb rooms, brand new. Fully equipped kitchen available. Proactive and nice receptionist! I wish to stay there more than one night!"

"הכל מהכל. מלון קטן ומקסים. באזור באראנקו. אזור שקט ורגוע בטוח להסתובב גם ביום וגם בלילה. לא רחוק משכונת מיראפלורס. המלון מעוצב בעיצוב צעיר . נקי מאד. שרות ויחס לאורח יוצא מן הכלל. תודעת שרות גבוהה מאד. דאגה לאורח . לציין שאין מעלית ויש מדרגות אותם צריך לטפס לקומה השניה. לנו זה לא הפריע. וכשצריך עזרה עם המזוודות אז עוזרים. חדרים קטנים אך נוחים. יש מאוורר בחדר. ארוחת בוקר על פי תפריט. טעים ומספק. אנחנו נהננו מאד וממליצים בכל פה.תודה לצוות הבנות המקסימות שגורמות לאורח להרגיש נוח ונעים."

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

"ארוחת בוקר טובה מאוד ומגוונת, ישיבה נוחה בשולחנות גדולים שמותאמים למשפחה, הדירה מקסימה ונוחה ומאובזרת עם כל מה שצריך הכל חדש ובסטנדרט גבוה. יש ליד אגם עם מגרש משחקים וטרמפולינות שהילדים מאוד אהבו. הדירות מעל רפת, ראינו המלטה של פרה(!) והזמינו אותנו גם לחלוב את הפרות אבל לא הספקנו. יש בחוץ חניה חופשית והרבה בימבות וטרקטורים לילדים שהבן שלי מאוד אהב. קרוב לאינסברוק יחסית, יש כמה אטרקציות קרובות והיה נחמד שלא צריך נסיעות ארוכות."

הכל היה מעולה. רק לקחת בחשבון שחייבים רכב והמיקום דורש נסיעה למסעדות/סופר למשל. היתה פיצריה יחסית קרובה וכל השאר קצת יותר רחוק.

Kayaks available for guests. The bay is just a short walk away, making the location perfect. Absolutely loved our stay — highly recommended!"

"This hasn't been my first stay at Chez Giuliana and it won't be the last – it's a family-run place that makes you feel at home, especially in a place like Ouagadougou, where finding a place that feels genuinely caring can make all the difference, There is nothing impersonal about this place. Staff is welcoming and attentive. Breakfast is served on the terrace – fresh fruit, coffee and cakes baked in-house. My rooms was comfortable and impeccably clean. Wi-fi connection is very reliable, which is great for me as I need it for work."

"Accommodations are simple but very comfortable. Nice swimming pool right out the hotel room door. Short walk to the water. We really enjoyed diving. My 18yr old son got PADI certified. They did an awesome job with him. Nassar was his instructor. He was awesome! Area was very safe."

No complaints. Please understand that tourism is severely impacted by the Gazan war. Many hotels and restaurants are closed and those that are open often are operating in a limited capacity. For example hotel restaurants might not operate at all. This affects all hotels. There were almost no tourists as of November 2025.

"Everything was at an excellent level. The hospitality of the hosts, the food in their restaurant, the view from the apartment, the heating during the winter period, and the location. We will definitely come back again."

"המיקום מאוד קרוב למדרחוב הראשי ולכיכר הרגיסטר. הבעלים בחור צעיר, מדבר ברוסית, אנגלית ואוזבקית. חדר נקי, אך קטן. ארוחת בוקר מגוונת וטעימה!"

המיקום אמנם קרוב לאתר ההיסטורי, אך נמצא בשכונה עם תאורה חלשה וריחות ביוב לא נעימים בקטעים מסוימים. לא קריטי, אבל לא נעים.

"The English style. Cosy sitting room with a nice collection of pousse-café. Quiet surrounding ar walking distance from De Haan's center. Comfortable bed, quiet airy room. Great shower."

Parking is very tight. The water drainage (room 11) in the shower flows the wrong way so it can be tricky to avoid flooding the place. Since there is no water mixer, it takes time to get the water temperature correct. Turning the water off and back on because of poor drainage is not ideal for a 4 night stay in luxury accommodation.

Bed a little harder than our preference but I think that’s normal! We supplied our own music, frequent power cuts but the generator kicked in quickly.

"I really like small boutique hotels and S Chalet is one of the best. The staff were exceptional, very helpful. The location was great and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinner , varied and tasty. A great welcome for our first visit to Pakistan."

"מיקום מעולה, מרחק של כ 10 דקות נסיעה מבית העלמין היהודי, ועשרים דקות נסיעה מרחוב סטפן צל מארי הרחוב המרכזי בבלץ ארוחת בוקר טעימה ומשביעה, אומנם המבחר לא גדול אך מאוק משביע, צוות המלון היה מקסים ועזר מאוד מה שהפך את השהייה לנעימה מאוד"

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)
