"Wow, what a place! absolutely pristine, everywhere spotless, panoramic view over the canal - all wonderful. A superb kitchen area, with all that we wanted, with beer and wine available if wanted We arrived at the end of a cycle tour and Nadine was really helpful in letting us have early access to the room and a secure shed to store our bikes. Nadine is really organised, so all communications were good. Absolutely fabulous breakfast - couldn't have asked for better"

"the Vis has wonderful views of the canal and it is a delight to watch the huge barges slowly passing . Unfortunatley it was raining when we were there and so couldn't take advantage of the seats on the balcony."

"Pristine. Spacious. Comfortable. Well equipped. Everything we needed. Great views - very relaxing. The kitchen area was very useful with free coffee and tea at all times. Hosts were wonderful. They were able to offer storage for our bikes. Recommendations for and booking of restaurants and very early breakfasts to suit our needs. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was substantial and prepared with care. Very conveniently located, short walk to nearby restaurants, shops etc."

"Nothing, at night you feel unsafe walking back to the hotel from the nearest train station. It was unclean, no headboards and we found cockroaches in our room. Only 1 lightbulb worked in the room and the walls are too thin to even think about getting some sleep… this was the room upgrade took, considering the first room we were given had dirty towels on the bed and hadn’t been cleaned from the last stay."

We got the attic room, spacious and comfortable with nice views of the valley. Convenient parking. Short walking distance to the centre with all the restaurants and to the hiking trails."
